EC - 60

The Bucs have been battle tested playing a tough non-district schedule. Deweyville game will be a great test but for the first time this season, EC is healthy.
-
EC - 3
Buna - 0
-
East Chambers - Tramain Thomas, Vance McDonald, Paul Trammell, Isaiah White, Carlos Trevino

How about a small 2A team playing without 3 or 4 or 5 starters, and is STILL somehow able to go 4-0 against 3A teams who primarily play one-way guys.... If thats not at the top of this list, I don't know what would be.
You forgot to add that several of our starters are playing hurt and won the last 2 ballgames during the last couple of minutes of the game. The EC Buccs just keep finding a way to win!

East Chambers over Kountze 3-1.

East Chambers - 3
Hull-Daisetta - 1

East Chambers needs to improve on staying healthy. We've been fighting and losing the injury bug since week 0. We get past HJ this Friday night and we have 2 weeks to heal up before district begins.
-
The basketball boys walked off this past week
I'm surprised they lasted this long.
-
Kountze is a basketball school. WH will roll!
-
EC had two touchdowns nullified due to ineligible receiver downfield penalties. Second half the EC defense dominated the horns.
-
Offensive line for EC has exceeded my expectations. They have blocked well on run & passing plays.
-
EC's defensive depth improves this week with the return of one of their starting LB's that was injured in the Shepherd game.
EC wins by 7.
-
Good article. The EC defense in the second half didn't suffer as much from fatigue as it did to losing two of its top defensive players to injury. One player went down before half while the second was hurt in the 3rd quarter.

East Chambers 3
Spurger 0

East Chambers exceeded expectations. Looked great defensively and not too shabby on offense. Barring injury and with further development on the O-line, they'll make the playoffs.
-
Underrated= Deweyville, solid group of kids and could win the district.
Deweyville plays EC in Winnie so they won't have the advantage of home cookin'. The Bucs will rip the Pirates a new one.

Paul Trammell is going to be a junior. He tore his acl in the first district game last year against West Hardin. He should have a great couple of years ahead of him.
Trammell was credited with 45 tackles in 2005 as a Sophomore. Those 45 tackles were accrued in less than 3 games.
