I believe that the top two are set but that third spot is up for grabs. leaning toward Deweyville but one bad snap and warren could move up....that and a $1.45 still will only get you a small cup of coffee. add .59 and you can get a glazed doughnut also

Newton 3 Center 2 in the controlled part of the scrimmage and Netwon 1 center 0 playing 1 qrt before weather did them in....Newton looked good on offence but really needs to have somebody step up in the defencive backfield or teams will be able to throw on them.....Center looked good on the passing offence but now sure if it was that they looked good or Newton just didnt have the D backs ready. Ground game was there for Newton so was the run defence....but as Coach says they aint ready till the third week so next thursday it will be Newton Vs Dibol in Dibol for their third scrimmage

if this thing comes up into la again, I will be pissed....you hear? So Coop get all your go away dances going and move this thing on out

let everybobdy get in the playoffs extend the playoff season till at least march more HS football.....other than that I liked the win your district or go home mentality of the 70's.

Strother Named to World Championship Team

Clay Strother will compete in his first Gymnastics World Championship in October. -

Clay Strother, the son of locals Mike and Cynthia, has been selected as a member of the U.S. National Team that will compete at the World Championships this October in Denmark.

A 1998 Graduate of Jasper High School, the 26-year-old gymnast has been in the sport for nearly 20 years. Strother is coached by Fred Roethlisberger, and has been a member of the U.S. National Team on four different occasions, but this is his first trip to the World Championships.

Strother specializes in the floor exercise and pommel horse and a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota was a back-to-back champion in both in 2001-2002 and ranked number one in the Nation on the pommel horse in 2002.

Strother said his one of his goals was to compete at the World Championships and hopefully next up will be the Olympics.

Darn good since Jasper I know doesnt have a gymastic team

this will be a good night to watch cause they will start all the new story lines for the next Pay for View 8)
