I predicted this when CT retired Well he was pushed out ! Harris and Hickman need to hit the road, this experiment had failed miserably , but there might be some folks that are still happy . This is embarrassing for the school and the community , I feel really bad for these kids . They are the ones really paying the price !

Say what you want the buck stops at the head coaches office . WOS is just another mediocre program now and will stay that way until changes are made .

There is a reason the stands are empty . The program is gone, the admin doesn’t care . Some fans are happy because they have the coach they wanted . But the rest of us are sickened that a State respected program has been totally dismantled in one season.

Man what a great day of football that’s gonna be . Get in early for first game , head to second deck , grab front row seats on the 50 , stay all day !! My son and I have done that several times , leave early Thursday , catch 2nd and 3rd game 3A Div 1 and 4A Div 2 , then all day Friday and all day Saturday! !

PNG is at peak, firing on all cylinders! Running game , passing game , defense and excellent special team play , field goals could be the difference ! This old W.O. Chief is pulling for them , bring home that SC to the Triangle !!

PNG was firing on all cylinders against LH. They will have to keep that going against SOC. They have peaked at the right time. It will be a battle .

Absolutely. Coach T has that number. Only slot offense that ever beat him was pleasant grove , but they won with the pass .

Time for a superintendent and AD/HD to exit stage left . Their little experiment is a dismal failure , just telling it like it is !!

WOS should rehire CT as superintendent, then they would have one that can actually get on the sidelines and know what needs to be done. The super is ultimately responsible, evidently this one has made some poor decisions. The kids are the ones that are suffering the consequences.

WOS defense like a sieve. Somebody needs to get the boot !

Yes in 2001 when Cornell left for a head coaching job. But he came back a couple years later . And the history books were written and now he’s gone and to na sayers are eating their crow.

Sad time for WOS supporters, we had a great run with some great coaching and talented players. The plunge to Mediocrity has begun, still some talent in the pipe , but there is an exodus of that , coupled with an inexperienced staff and administration that is clueless

I’m afraid mediocrity has begun, WOS always had the IT factor , that intangible thing that makes champions . Even when out matched they win . But IT has left the campus , Silsbee wins this one .

Congratulations to PNG , just to put it in perspective. PNG is a 5A school, playing a 4A Div II school. They should always win this match up . But have been unable to do that for 18 years. And they still have not , nor will they ever beat a Cornell Thompson coached team. WOS will at best be a mediocre program from here on out. They will win some games , when playing in their classification because they do have talent . It was a great ride , and I will always support the Stangs. So PNG fans don’t get too stoked up over this win.

Easy to do that to a nothing defense ! The kids are clueless!
