I don't like going to HF. Their visitors stands are horrible. If you have kids with you you have to watch them like a hawk so they don't fall though the stands.

Add Buna to my list too. I hate the light poles infront of the visitor stands.

We do favor Clemson alot, but there are some differences in our helmet and theirs. Also they have some purple too. We are Orange, White and Black.

Orangefield Varsity girls finished up 10-0 in summer league play with wins over Lumberton, Central, HJ, HF and PNG just to name a few. Should be fun once district starts.

Wheres Kerry Franks now? Is he still in Aggieland?

They've moved Kerry from the slot to the outside. He should get more touches this year. May be a return man too.

OK folks' date=' if Al-T's is considered good food, then by all means please let me cook for you. I have eaten there twice in the last two years (not by choice) and it was the worse food I have eaten in a long while. Use to not be that way years ago.

One of the East of the Trinty restraunts I like is in Beaumont. Good home cooking and more than you can eat: [b']Richard's over on the West side of town.

As for Mexican food, hands down is a small mexican restraunt between Freer and Hebronville. There is another GREAT one in Tahoe (no kidding).

Seafood: I have not found many that are just great. Ester's is OK, Babin's (Kemha) is good, and Top Water Bar and Grill (Baycliff) is good.

Jody, would that mexican resturant between Freer and Hebronville be LALA'S?

Same here Jody. Saturdays during the playoffs I lived in the Dome. I really wish they would have keep it up so that games where still played there. It was a great place to watch High School football.

Thats true Coop, but if you think about it, if El Paso was to make the state championship they would be playing a team from Region 3 or 4 and would have to travel far anyway. They could be playing an East Texas or Valley team. If thats was the case they would probably play in San Antonio. San Antonio has the Alamo Dome just sitting there, why not put it to use and play all state championship games there. I know I would be there. Again it would be great for fans like me, but I'm sure alot of coaches would not see it the same way I do.

No doubt!! You've got at least five teams in this district that could probably win alot of district across the state.

As an average fan I love the idea of being able to go to one venue and watching a few state championship games. Although I would love to see them in Houston, it make more sence geographically to have them either in Austin or San Antonio.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, Central is 19 in 4a, but third in the district projections behind Ozen and Nederland who are not in the top 25. This type of thing happens every year.
