I do, I look forward to it, although for about the past five years the quality has been down. I will admit, it has been better the last couple of years though!

Ramsey did graduate. Our QB this year will be Jared Helton. He's not as big as Ramsey, but is faster. OF will have more overall team speed this next season. Don't count us out!!

Everyone keeps putting OF at the bottom, that's fine, that's right where we want to be. I hope everyone overlooks us this year!!!

Would Kelly be in 3A though? That article says that you take the enrollment and multiply it by two. Would that put Kelly in 4A? What is their current enrollment?

I agree, Central will be tough. Lumberton will be good, but lost some great players to graduation. Dayton and Ozen will be good also. My sleeper in this district next year is LCM. They may not make the playoffs, but they will be in the hunt.

Friday was Coach Ancelot's last day at Orangefield and to show her support several returning baskeball players wore Lamar University shirts to school that day. I know that meant alot to Coach A. Good job ladies!! Good Luck Coach!!

Looks like Lamar is really committed to having a successful womens basketball program. Two great hires in Tidwell and Ancelot. Ancelot's local connections is a great addition to Lamar. Lamar just got alot better.

The district chair is Mike Gentry Supt. at Orangefield. Tuesday May 1st is the District certification deadline.

No she is not coaching. I know that she is in a band that plays locally.

Barbara is good. She still lives in the area. She post occasionally on the Orangefield message board. She was recently inducted into the Lamar Hall of Honor.
