If this is true about grades, it is a shame. This team has come a long way since the beginning of the season and then to have this kind of let down.... Best of luck to the kids still playing. I will be pulling extra hard for you to continue on. Step up to the challenge.

Cleveland and HF play in Kountze on Tuesday also.

Nederland has plenty of talent coming up to keep them going strong. Coach English has spent lots of hours getting ready for the next several years.

Wow, it is nice to see a District that actually PLAYS a championship game! The number of coin flips or concessions that have gone on this year across several districts disappoints a fan of the game.

I agree that it is important to support and follow a team. Tuesday nights with away games are harder when you have young children too. We try and make the home games on Tuesday and all games on Friday whether they are home or away and I don't have anyone playing. It is just fun and being part of a school and community.

I saw Shawn get recognized as player of the week for Channel 12. Congrats!

I know there are things that go on during the game that us fans do not hear or see (from both sides) but what has gotten me is teams not shaking hands after the game. My thoughts are you play hard and leave it on the floor and when it is over you should  a gracious winner and/or loser. At that point it is over.
