Kirbyville at Newton Predictions?

Smack, smack, smack. Isn't that why your mama told you to chew with your mouth closed. Kvillecats you have said more against your almighty Kats than I have and don't even realize that you have caused damage. Those players on JV have just as much want to and have put in the work to be on the field. Maybe not quite as talented, but to be put down by one of their own is unbelievable. I bet you played in the band or never belonged to any kind of TEAM. Kirbyville Jv, ya'll keep the faith and keep working hard. Good things don't come easy. And don't believe everything you hear from your own people. :) -

Kirbyville at Newton Predictions?

That kinda explains the "Eat more Beaver" signs in Bleakwood. My mistake. I've already gotten so excited I was probably out of my mind. I was thinking that was a JV game in Kville, but have learned on here it was not Kirbyville JV players. I'm sure the kids parents on the Kirbyville team appreciate that bit of info! ;) Also that Kirbyvlle didn't teach fundamentals except to a chosen few is interesting news. If I didn't know better I would say that was the sound of rats jumping from a sinking ship. 8) So rykerx are you coming to Newton for the game? -

rykerx I don't think you will have trouble finding a seat on the visitors side from what I hear. You are going to attend the game aren't you? Tonight I thought it was a woods fire but then realized it was the smell of fur burning I could smell at Bleakwood. Went on to Kirbyville anyways and it turned into an all out HazMat situation at Wildcat stadium. PNG and Newton, purple pride forever!! And that wasn't the eighth grade on the field so I don't think "all" their JV players are on varsity. I'm also old enough that I can get excited as I want to, thank you very much. -

This Newton JV bunch are very, very good. I don't think Kirbyville will stand a chance. Newton can score multiple ways and the defense is tough. -

Yea, Doc Young used to have a special pair of double thick leather gloves to hold any kind of cat. I hope the talon marks will heal quickly!! It's getting all that fur out of the field surface that's the problem! -

My wife's not looking over my shoulder........can I get her number? 8) Even if she is from Kirbyville. I honestly don't know what to expect from WT and the Eagles tomorrow night. I think they are going to come out and do well. But, new coach, new defensive system, pressure to do well from all the fans and kinfolks because that is what the tradition is built on, but these are high school kids. My kids are grown and I still don't know what their going to do!! ;D -

Boy, Kirbyville used to be fun to talk trash with, but now it's like sitting on the porch at the old folks home talkin' bout how it used to be. For a quote "football town" there sure is an amazing silence the week of playing one of your oldest rivals. I almost want to say something nice about the Wildcats, almost. ::) ::) ::) -

It used to be a back and forth deal except for the 90's. Its been times where Kirbyville have put 60 points on the eagles...lets not go there. I have respect for your program but keep in mind wwe or a football town too and kirbyville will be back on top buddy. Once again reading comprehension comes to play! I didn't say anything about winning or losing by a big score to Kirbyville. I said Newton has lost bigger GAMES, such as the one to Sealy. Any game in the playoffs is a bigger loss than to a supposed rival. Kirbyville above anyone else should realize this. :P When you lose in the playoffs, you go home. Losing to a rival does not most of the time end your season. This of course is not a hard and fast rule. By the way you should know a little of your school history and I congratulate you on knowing the only time Kirbyville put 60 or more on Newton was in 1921! 8) You might also want to add the 50's, 70's, and 80's to the 90's on your exception. ;D -

Irvine is a tough between the tackles runner, but does not have nearly the speed or athletcism as Gilbert. If you think he would of been the diffrence against Coldspring you may want go back and watch the tape of the game.
Irvine is just a threat on any play as the kid from Coldspring ....trust me. If the Oline get at least have way good then you'll see what i'm talking about. Yes Gilbert is a speedy back, but nothing Kirbyville haven't seen before or usually have. Coach Barbay gonna have to spread the ball around more on offense or its gonna be an upset for the Trojans if they meet up with a team with a solid run stop defense because you guys have NO passing game!
After this and you tell me to not get too cocky? Newton has lost lots of big games in the past, just none of them were to Kirbyville. Sealy beat us 82 to 6 once in the playoffs and we recovered. Can Kirbyville? -

I find it quite amusing actually that some supposedly fans from Kirbyville can look down from the mountain and be blinded by the clouds and not see anything. :o Kirbyville got hammered and they still act superior and expect the rest of the world to be blind with them!! Pot must be what your smoking if you expect to be in the game Friday night!! At least Newton has the trophies to back up their program. Nobody remembers who finished second, no matter how many times you attend the competition. For as the hating thing, that's a way over used term which means absolutely nothing to anyone that's not in elementary school. Newton and Kirbyville have met 66 times with Newton winning 39 of those. Ya'll have won the last three, so win 13 more and we will be even. 8) -

Irvine may have been good last year, but he would need to prove himself THIS year, not to outsiders but to his teammates. He missed all the hard work days, then going to come in and be the hero? What would that say to all the ones that have been there?
Idk the story but he is a kid...probably not his choices where he is living.
I'm not saying it was his "choice", but if it happens it still has the same effect.
