Now the games count. Newton should not be looking past Warren.They need to go there, take care of business, and move on. Warren has improved and will be fired up. Newton can win this with good old fashion football. Play hard, every player does his job, and don't turn the ball over. Newton wins.

EC has been wearing the District Championship crown the last two years and rightfully so. Gonna be a good game in Newton as the Eagles will attempt to wrestle the crown from EC. As always I will support the Eagles in that attempt. And I think they will succeed this year.

From what I saw last week at Liberty, I would feel sorry for anyone I knew that was participating in their program. I think there are some fundamental problems. And that is all I'll say. Looks like long year for the Panther faithful to me.

Pretty accurate reporting. The first line summed the game up.  :)

Jasper is on a come back trail, but not quite in WOS country yet. WOS defense too much for the Dogs. WOS 32 Jasper 7.

As a team Orangefield came out and played tough, physical football. Youth on the line for Newton showed as Orangefield continually handled Newton on both sides of the ball. Newton's athletic backs were able to break a few plays to score, but it was mainly their individual efforts that allowed them to do so. Orangefield drove the ball on offense, but turned it over too many times. Congrats to the Eagles on getting the win, but also good luck to the Bobcats and keep playing hard like tonight and good things will come.

Game time has been changed to 7:00 for this ball game. All Newton schedules have it 7:30.
