I would like to wish all the teams good luck this weekend.  Obviously WOS has a great program because this is an every year event for them.  Nederland buy those stats is an awesome team.  I think it will be a great weekend of football for all the teams.  I will sit back and watch the snow in the meantime and look forward to the weekend.  Regardless of what happens like lookout said it is great to see southeast Texas represented so well in the STJFL.  I'll have my colorado bulldog and wait for the weekend.

The middle of last baseball season is not a long time.  I only said him because I still see him eating with the WOS coaches at several different places.  Besides I was just giving a person I know that you may know.  Whether he coached 20 yrs ago or just a few months, how does that make him a bad reference.  I think he's a good guy who loves his kids.  I think it was taken out of text is all I was saying.  Good luck to all of the teams this weekend. 

It was definitely not meant to offend anyone.  I truly do apologize if it offended you.  If you know me, you know it was taken out of context.  Ask Derick Rivers one of the WOS Mustangs coaches what I'm about.  I was referring to our offense and people saying it does not teach the kids fundamentals.  Again sorry if it offended you.

I don't know why you call it the snoop dog offense. We teach the kids very well. I guess the same offense you teach at the High School is deep snap to #4 to the right and deep snap to #4 to left. Is that fundamentals>

You are right Dustjam.  The media just wont let this go!  How about starting a post KFDM COOP about all of the great football that happened yesterday instead of making it about the brawl! Every kid out there yesterday played their hearts out and still you have to bring up something that happened last weekend.  I guess you are pretty disappointed that you did not have any drama to report on!

I bet if they knew that a fight was going to break out tomorrow they would have their one reporter/photographer there waiting!

I have been reading about this fight on this forum for 3 days now and have refrained from posting anything but I think the fact you posted what you just did just goes to show how so many people who were not even there thrive on conflict!  I was present at the game and witnessed everything personally.  The majority of you people who are trying to make this go on and on and on and on.... don't know what you are talking about.  Ever play the game in elementary school when you whisper something in someone's ear and it comes out totally different when the last person says it?  That is pretty much what has been happening on this forum.  Both sides were wrong and the kids were the ones who suffered.  From the beginning of the game, tensions were high and there were comments flying from BOTH sides of the field.  NEITHER side is innocent in this! Noone has talked about how a representative from the Lumberton board went over to the Bridge City side before this "Brawl" happened and asked the coaches to control their sideline or how a Lumberton board member went over to the Bridge City sideline to stop the situation from escalating into the "Brawl" and how the Bridge City coach pushed him have they? This happened before there was any confrontation.  Yes, Lumberton people should not have been on the Bridge City sideline and the Lumberton coach should not have run across the field but that does not mean that Bridge City was innocent of any wrong doing.  They did just as much talking to contribute to the situation.  Were the Bridge City boys talked to by the Lumberton sideline in a derogatory way?  No.  Were team moms cussed at?  No.  So to all of you who were not even there and to the person who posted this STUPID thread, get a life and find something else to do!
