North Shore is scary good and young. Their defensive front is amazing, but their secondary had problems with man. Defensive right corner/safety had tough time transitioning to in phase technique in man. Of course Westfield had some X receivers that could go, but so will other teams. This needs to be addressed as I am sure Coach K will. Definitely a challenger for the Jerry Jones love fest.

I think this is jaspers year. I saw the kids working out this summer and they and the staff demonstrated confidence but diligent in everyone working to a goal.

Franklin lost to Lorena last week, i believe. I saw coaches working there this weekend, they were pissed. Mart is going to get the revenge of a lot of extra running this week. Lorena is good though. I believe it will be a helluva game when Diboll plays Franklin in week 9?

Potentially, this is the best Crosby team since the team i helped coach in 97 (when Johnnie Freeman was a senior) years may be off. We lost to La marque that year 13-7 and la marque lost in final to stephenville i believe. We almost caught the galveston county cougars napping. The next year they took us to the woodshed. Potential of this team is unlimited because there isn't a star and i feel that they are a true team. Long season though, the one player that they can't lose is the surgeon #7.
