  1. There are In and Out Burgers in TX as well, but I'm sticking to 5 guys lol.
  2. no way...Five Guys Burgers and Fries is better! I'd even put Dippity's in Lumberton in front of Depot...you'll have to leave this SETX bubble though to eat at 5 guys, large cities only.
  3. I'll root against Dayton any day of the week! Had it out for them ever since my HS days early-mid 2000's when they were in our district at Lumberton. Scalp Em!! Broom Chop!!
  4. What happened to Granato? And who is the other you speak of? If its Pace, that's no newsflash, he hasn't played a district game all year...
  5. This thread is a place were us Texans can at least agree on ONE topic haha, love it. 10:24 and OU still sucks! Going to take a Bob and wipe my Stoops.
  6. Another long Friday night for my hometown boys :/ sucks
  7. Well, I don't think I can pick a score, or a winner, too many things to pan out this week at practice! Lumberton needs Pace back badly, he's our speed and big play guy, lots of situations during his time out have called for outside and corner making speed, and its hurt not having him. Our boys will break out of this 'slump' they have lots of heart, but certainly need to taste victory. I played for 3 of the awful years Johhny the joke Fuller was our AD, we didn't win once in 05n it was terrible. This town and its fanbase has come too far to let those days return! Show up Friday night Raider faithful, show up for the boys that are still taking the field every Fri night. The homecoming crowd was disappointing, after having 10,000 the last 3 yrs in a row. Players notice these things, and they know they are being compared to previously more sucessful teams. SHOW UP, we have to support! Let's create a home game atmosphere for once in this fair weather town ;)
  8. Coaching staff wayyyyy too conservative for the raiders tonight. Ran a rotation of about 5 diff plays 20 times each. Awful
  9. Pretty disappointed at how that half ended. Almost 2 mins on the clock and Lumb faced with a long 3rd down....no TO called with 3 TO's to spare....we score or get three there then start the 2nd half with the ball and were lookin fine....questionable coaching at least. Guess Credeur is just playing damage control with this yrs team. Shame.
  10. I am a Ltown supporter, graduated from LHS, was employed by LISD, and love to go to games...I'm tellin you, were in trouble this year, there are so many guys playing positions simply bc they are the best 'fit' for what we have, not because they are qualified. I really don't expect much this year considering the district were in. A little bit disappointed in the approach as well, the offense seems like a roll over move and seems destined to fail. Its a clock controlling offense, and almost seems like Credeur just wants to eat up clock to minimize pain of losses....yes we had large sucess in similar sets, but with Hussey, Hanna, and Beard at the helm. Such talents no longer exist in Lumberton with the exception of Pace. The sucessful, clock controlling offenses of the past in Ltown were backed by Defense...(Murrill, Hanna, Beard) and excellent o-line play (Howden, Gillam) all at LU now seeing significant PT. We just don't have it anymore.
  11. Played for Brevell at Lumberton during the 'Buchholz era' lol and theres nobody I would have rather played for..hate that his team is off to a slow start, but loooove to see the Indians lose on the diamond lol old rivalries dont die ;)
  12. Could just be a score fest. Who knows really haha, we havent faced a capable passing O all season, but we gashed through Vidor on the ground tonight. Could be a turnover or special teams decided game. I just wondering how many games PNG has at home this year, will Lumberton be 3 in a row?
  13. Whole lotta wrong goin down on this thread hahaha. Vidor looked like a pop warner team, completed maybe 2 passes on the night. This district is rediculous lol....Congrats to my Ltrain, always good to send Vidor packin back across the neches.
  14. If we play uninspired football the way we did @ LCM, anyone will beat us. It doesnt help morale much to see Mcdonald, Richardson, and Howden; 3 starters in khaki shorts and t-shirts on crutches, a mid game injury to Mouton, also on crutches, then Hughes unstrapped on the sideline done for the game. Were spread pretty thin right now and need people to step up. This thing could go either way, along with the rest of the season. We can roll over, or instead get some intensity and execute....we'll see
  15. Not a whole lot to say to such a loss lol. Outcoached, outplayed, and of course outscored...We ran into an inspired team, and played with little heart. If a fire isnt lit this week in practice, it could just be a tailspin. Cant take a week off in this district.
  16. lol the lumberton and vidor comparison??? u bumped ur head, find me a developed neighborhood with 50,00 dollar lots or a single custom home in vidor....pshhhh
  17. Lumberton ran the spread from 2000-2007....Tony Eckert won the Smith award in that system, went on to play at SMU. Our understanding of it is just fine, we have just simply moved on. Set a state record for pass attempts in a game in 02 against Jasper and Keith Talbert at the time had the state record for receptions at 22. Do some hw before you insult intelligence of a whole city...moron.
  18. theres already a 9 page thread on this game, seems as if someone is screaming for attention in little cypress.
  19. Would be fine with BH winning this one, bc they are largely irrelevant in the big picture. Hoping for a Dayton loss here simply bc I am a Raider fan and enjoy it when they lose lol  8)
  20. Did an internship in Mckinney, just barely North of there, both cities are great places, very nice schols. I like that they keep the town together with one high school, it payed off in 08 with the state title
  21. haha this cant even be a real question.....WOS scores early and often, Jasper is in a down year, no rhythm, simply just a big play team. saw it first hand week 0 in ltown
  22. Lumberton has the D to stop a high powered offense. As for clock control and run game, which was previously mentioned, anoyone who has watched Lumberton football the last 5 years has seen MULTIPLE 7-8 minute scoring drives. We play pro style, power football and we'll run it at anyone. Nederland got a taste when Hanna went for 300+ and their offense had 2 series' in the first half, thats clock control at its finest.
  23. Im just ready for all of it to unfold. Getting tired of people finding every way to discredit teams wins so far though, a W is a W right? you still have to show up, execute, and go get the win, so enough with the strength of schedule crap, its high school, teams are CONSTANTLY changing. U can scenario until you are blue in the face, oh they played them, but they played these guys uncles who beat up on these guys in laws, go home w that crap. The bias is completely apparent with very few exceptions. Stop acting like its embarassing or degrading to lose to certain teams, if a teeam played hard and beat you, give em credit, dont tell me about who was missing, or that they are a class under or above u, its stupid. And i have heard about all i can take of people bringing up losses from like 95-recent years, move on, take the letter jacket off and turn the page.
