The entire Raider squad plays with heart and determination, its obvious throughout the game. Its amazing what Credeur has been able to do in his short tenure at Lumberton. As for individual efforts, Hanna is a stud. he doesnt leave the field (RB, DE, Punter, and KR) Wish there were more like him

Hanna has to take offensive and district MVP. Beard takes it on the Defensive side of the ball. Larry Neuman said himself that Beard is one of the best LB to ever play in SETX

From what I have heard, Crosby is prone to turnovers. Raiders by 17 at least

The best thing Ned can do to win is keep the ball out of Lumberton hands which isnt happening. Lumberton will grind out 6-7 mins per possesion and has no problem stuffing the run w/ beard, hanna, duvall, and murril. I predict at least 3 pics from our db's, idk where to find high school stats, but we HAVE to lead the district in picks. Hanna and Kieth are very capable of taking kicks back as well

Im alittle suprised by Livingston sucess thus far this season. Lumberton handled them 37-16 in week one of district. They must have improved, but Go Pirates! Help the cause

The best offense is a good defense. Lumberton is yet to allow more than 20 points in a game this season. I believe we can at least hold Ned's offense enough to score more than them. It may come to intangables such as Spec. teams where Central was able to run a kick back and a pick 6 on us for two of their 3 td's.

It amazes me how much attention we get from Dayton's entire fan base. If you dont like us, etc blah blah than why are u so concerned with what happens to Lumberton.....U guys have been a mere afterthought of the Raiders this year, you're out of our district, and nobody cares about what happens to you.

That isnt true. If you have moved on you wouldnt be callin for us in Bi-District and you wouldnt need revenge.

Lumbertons announcer is a local pastor in Lumberton, I believe his intentions are good, but he does have a competitive streak. I believe his comments, jokes, etc are to inspire the Lumb crowd. If you cant laugh at last years comment in the Ned game "The raiders have the dogs pinned back to parkdale mall" u can get the heck outta here, that was and still is funny

Ur right PNG "derailed" the Ltrain. Im fairly sure we still had a share of the district title and also made it further than PNG in the playoffs. I think derailed may be a bit extreme.

Beard will play Friday night, he didnt buy a $1000 knee brace for no reason. Hanna will be at D-end as usual, and Mark Murril is head hunting. You guys wanna talk about how bad Ned wants Lumberton, etc...Well ur wrong if you think the Raiders dont want the dogs just as bad. Nederland is a little too confident of their west coast offense, its faulty and easy to blow up. Why do you think Lumberton had like 5 straight losing seasons under Fuller's west coast system. Its hard to pull off in HS.

Two great ball clubs, but just like last year (33-7) Nederland runs into an inspired Raider Nation. Who cares what the passing numbers were against LCM, we had the 15th string in. Im fairly sure we still lead the district in INT's. dont quote me, but I have seen tons this year

Dayton is the last team I want to see have sucess. My Soph year, they caused a bench clearing brawl at raider stadium that included their coaching staff hitting players. We finally got them out of sight out of mind, I dont care to ever see them again, not b/c of fear, but b/c of disgust. But whatever, were not backin down from anyone and we have the scores to prove it. It all started with dayton ironically being the raiders first district win last year to kick off a historic season. Embarassed Nederland 33-7. upset the 5 time state champion LaMarque team. Welcomed the new kids (livingston) to raider stadium and treated them to a 37-16 loss. But despite our sucess thus far this season, most everyone thiniks were just buyin our time, w/ the exception of a few true fans here with class. I wish luck to Central, b/c they have felt the pain of a losing season as have we, and their fans have supported us all year.

This is a stupid conversation. Every prediction I have seen is just silly. U cant put Lumberton behind 3 teams they have already beaten. Doesnt make any sense. But its ok, nobody from Lumberton expects to receive respect from anybody, but it may do ya some good. as long as we are disrespected b/c of a losing past, we will continue to roll.

Field looked good, not so sure about the stadium. They added seats to the middle, therefore nearly the entire crowd sat in the middle. The 2 Gen Adm sections were empty. I dont think theres any reason for that many seats. Well I guess when u drop 4 straight u wouldnt fill em anyway GO Raiders
