The AD said they would be allowed to played on Friday. Those were his exact words on the sideline last night at the LU game. He added that it would be tough considering the men's basketball team is playing their home opener that night, but he wouldn't pass on a Barbers Hill / PNG game due to the expected crowd. There stadium will not be available on Saturday for high school games due to LU's night game.

Lamar AD told me last night Vidor has contacted him for Thursday night at LU. Barbers Hill contacted him for Friday night.

I was pointing out this was incorrect, Central would not be in with a Win and losses by Nederland and Livingston. Playoff Clinching scenarios: Nederland: Win and your in. Its that simple (or a loss to PNG coupled with a Livingston loss to Ozen) Central : A Nederland and Livingston loss and beating Lee, or a Ned loss and Livingston win vs Ozen and beating Lee. (point diff) Livingston: Thier only scenario is a Ned loss and Central Loss

A Nederland and Livingston loss paired with a Central win would leave it Nederland 4-4 Central 4-4 Livingston 3-5 Bulldogs get in in that scenario. Not Central.

JT should be favored to beat Longview next week. So West Brook could still end up playing Longview in Beaumont. Lufkin beat Longview 35-24.

PNG isn't pass happy this season. Heading into the Vidor game they averaged 230 rushing yards compared to 202 passing yards per game. Against Vidor they did take advantage of the matchup to throw for 241, while running for 190. (Stats according to PA News). I didn't know the exact stats until looking up, I just knew from watching them a few times that they look different. Unlike the past seasons under BF the offense can chew up clock with the run and let the defense rest up.

Coach Stump hated that. He said BISD forced him to play Central and Ozen when he had other big schools lined up to play.

Our hats had a purple crown, black bill, gray I outlined in black. Home jersey was purple with INDIANS written in gray outlined in black. Road jersey was gray with INDIANS written in purple outlined in black. Senior year Stone came in and changed everything to purple and white. Home basketball uniforms back then were grey jerseys and shorts were gray with big purple and black stripes. Road basketball were purple jerseys, gray letters, purple shorts with big gray and black stripes.

Memorial's schedule is pretty suspect as well. Bay is (2-1) with with both wins coming against (1-3) teams. Westside is (0-3) while being outscored 98-13. PA was leading 34-27 when the game was called in the 3rd. Central is (1-3)
