I have that on tape somewhere, my buddy Billy Morgan was the Indian, that year he quit baseball to become the spirit. It's funny how the story has changed over the years, the bear pushed him from behind but never tackled him, the tape played over and over in the cafeteria that week. I still laugh when thinking about the bear (not in costume) coming to our cafeteria to apoligize to us during lunch. I almost felt bad for that guy.

I really like Vidor, I thought this design always looked best. I never did understand why they switched to white then gold (looked too much like Nederland), but Matthews said he liked the different colors, the kids like black.

And Deweyville, though the actual logo their usuing is the size of Vidor's, this was the orginal that came in too big.

I picked up Vidor and Deweyville today. Both have Tampa Bay logos, Deweyville has a red flag outlined in white on a red helmet, but they might be blank for a couple of weeks, the original decals were way to big. Vidor has black helmets with a gold TB logo, there are also gold Tennessee Titan stripes. I'll have pics tomorrow.

PN-G played this one without Hemmings and starting QB Barnett. Not sure why, maybe just precautionary.

So overall did Central outscore Memorial 4-3.

I was walkinng up at 12:20 and the players were walking off the field. Coaches from WB seemed to be happy with their quick score. But I believe Lufkin also scored on a big play.

When I left, Lufkin was packing up and everthing from the sidelines was taken away.

Haven't seen Nederland in person but I caught PN-G twice. They do have some things to work on as far as figuring out their rotation but I believe they will push Nederland for the title with LC-M third.

Did the scrimmage get moved to Saturday. According to the PA News it will start at around a 11am at Central's campus Saturday.
