  1. I only saw parts, but the beginning was too much like the movie, right down to the loudmouth player and the wife joking about moving to Alaska, this is not Permian so it should be different, they wear Pflugerville uniforms which has helmets that look like a blue and white version of Permian, coincidence I think not.
  2. If we're going that far over, throw in Southlake as West of the Trinity
  3. Just remember Golden Triangle schools are not included in the Houston Chronicle.

  5. It's going to take time only 1 senioir, 2 juniors with the rest sophomores and freshman.
  6. Don't be fooled, they're very young with lots of potential. Buchi didn't play to rest her knee for conference. Tonight was a game to try some things. Saturday is when it counts Lamar vs McNeese for 1st in the East.
  7. Just curious, why would that mean Ozen sucks?
  8. I guess Carter, I actually like columbia blue (I was an Oiler fan) but not for the entire helmet. I say bring back the Oiler look to Lumberton if you keep columbia blue. I still think they should bring back the LR logo, simple and easy to read, what a helmet logo should be.
  9. Kirbyville's Broderick Jackson 9 carries 208 yards, TD vs Liberty
  10. Here are some of the teams with lighter colors Lubbock Monterey Dallas Carter, mostly red now Houston Madison McAllen Memorial South San Antonio Dallas Roosevelt Sweeny Waco Reicher
  11. Anyone heard yet, I know Silsbee won the first game.
  12. Tatum was moved up to varsity this week, he is listed as the backup QB for now.
  13. I have a feeling this game will be close, it's our game of the week.
  14. Brenham was up 17-7 then blew the lead, then they had a chance to win it a the buzzer but the pass fell incomplete in the endzone. The Lamar QB started killing them once he started scrambling and throwing deep.
  15. That's the one, the Lamar Redskins. These two have had history over the years.
  16. No shades here, I'm not saying Silsbee wasn't much better than Sterling. I saw them in their scrimmage against Nederland, the D was very impressive. I should have made my statement a little clearer, I was trying to refer to the depth compared between the two schools. By the end of the game some of the reserves will have to step up and that's where the Raiders put up their points. Back when I was in HS Newton came to our place and outplayed us for the 1st half two years in a row but in the end PN-G wore them down with the numbers. I do realize the 1st unit only gave up 12 points, thanks for calling me out though, I enjoy talking back and forth on these things. Trust me this is a very dangerous game for PN-G, it's our game of the week, I believe the Tigers could still compete for a playoff spot in 22-4A and should advance out of their killer district.
  17. I went to my first PN-G game in 84, until 89 they were horrible in 5A but it was still packed. Then my first couple of years in HS in 94 and 95 when we were in district with North Shore, West Brook, Lee, etc the games were still sold out on PN-G's side.
  18. NedDog I love the avater, I'm a BIG FAN of the FSU Cowgirls!!!!!!!!!!!
