You obviously never played the game or you would know that!!  The year before Noah arrived in High school Sabine won TWO games.  Yes I said TWO games!  He played his ass off and did his job we just didn't have enough help with our 3 with a twisted knee and our point guard with the flu!!  Not making excuses one bit. AP beat us on the court and beat us the way we usually get beat by shooting 11 of 20 from 3 point range! They also won with class by playing hard no taunting and played the game like it is suppose to be played!  I wish certain posters had as much class!!!!   

I hope they had a safe trip up.  Looking forward to the game!!

[/quote] I'm sure Arp will have a little to say tomorrow.  Saw them Monday night and they can play and are extremely well coached as is NW.  I predict a toss up where its either teams game to win in last seconds.  I really hope NW players think its a done deal  ;)

Really hoping for a rematch in Tyler it will be a good one!!

I personally thought EC was much improved from last year.  Much better composed and you could see experience was better.  I wouldnt sleep on them.

I remember someone saying Sabine couldnt stay within 20 of new waverly last year either but how soon we forget. lol.  Its all good the debate is fun and i didnt mean take 15 or 25 out playing basketball meant if one was injuried.  As for not having to worry about us well i hope the team feels same way lol.  I really enjoyed meeting a lot of great fans from all over at the tourney it was a lot of fun.  Going to miss being down next year.

Where did i blame it on the refs?  Our leading scorer and best defender got a cheap shot and got a concussion in the beginning of the 2nd qtr and playe the 2nd qtr with it but he was obviously out of it and didnt play 2nd half at all.  Kountze beat us never questioned that but if we take 25 or 15 out of the game for 3 quarters and its also a different game.  My point was we had three really flagrant fouls (one a full punch trown) that are unacceptable in a normal called game that have no business being in a high school basketball game.  You wnt to beat people fine but have some class and dignity while you do it! Like I said until we meet again!!!!

Congrats to Kountze but if you think you will get away with that kind of dirty play in regional tourney you will be in for a rude awaking.  Till we meet again...

Pleasant Groves record is like 0 and 10 but their football team just lost last friday and they had 11 varsity kids playing football.  Their Jv has basically been playing a varsity schedule.  If you look at their record and overlook them they will beat you.  They are a very very good team.  HJ better come to play.

The summer league tourney you are putting down had over 300 teams from all over texas and beyond. Not exactly little and region specific. Sorry you are such a hater they have therapy for that! lol

Yes Sabine plays football!

I think he means Gladewater Sabine........ I know who he meant. : no-look, is Sabine in Southeast Texas? Just keeping southeast informed for all the New Waverly and Kountze fans down that way. We are in the same region! For anyone that wants to win a state title the road leads through Sabine this year!

Sabine's HS team went 8-0 over 4 days in the Denton Great American Shootout to take the NIT Championship title. Sabine had 128 teams in their division. Field was mainly 16 and under select teams but also included 2A teams Ponder, Edgewood, Wall and Brock among others. Sabine won 6 of the 8 games by 12 or more! Congrats to the boys for the great showing!
