Whatever it is, football fans will watch it. I don't believe a bad football movie has been made yet. I'll watch any of them over and over.

[/quote] A few weeks back it was said that Huffman couldn't hang with Liberty, we all seen what happened, when they finally played a quality team. As for Cleveland, i have said it a few times already, They are young, we have 7 starting sophmores on defense, they have been making some mistakes, but they will get tuned up and they will beat Liberty.

Liberty is still a good team and shouldn't be thrown out of playoff talk. Liberty's secondary is absolutely terrible, they will match up better with a running team in Cleveland. [/quote] Hey I don't count anyone out, anything can happen on Friday Night. As far as all the hype, Liberty was getting all that they could produce. It's just hard to talk alot of hype after Huffman put it on them. As far as Clevland losing it's stars last year, i'll agree 50% we did lose a few good players, but was still 2-8 last year. my point is, this is not last year. if you think the Cleveland that you played last year is going to show up in a few weeks, your wrong. This is all my opinion, we will see in four weeks.

Alright Cleveland made the playoffs, now i can relax some. But really can't really say on the SILSBEE vs HUFFMAN. Cleveland can't afford to lose this game, I think we should be on top by a couple of TD's. We really need to establish 4 full good quarters this week. After the bye week, we will have the three strongest teams back to back and we have got to get for sure one of them. Let's roll Indians ;D

Every generation, we are getting less and less respect and it all starts at home. Parents do not teach or demand respect for adults, alot of the young parents have little or no respect for others. So what do we expect, no one is held accountable anymore. Not many butts getting tore up at the home, God has been erased from most homes and everyday life. These kids live for reality tv, where it's ok to be a loser and get paid for it. Coaches like this ruin, the greatest sport ever. Sorry for the rambling on, but stuff like this gets old.

Well Cleveland has a pretty strong D also. And I. Promise a battle will take place Friday night. May the best team win.

Wow, thanks for the history lesson. Can't argue with facts, but I'm only talking about Friday. We all will see soon enough, we are the underdog in this match up and that's fine. I just hope we can get a W in that 2011 spot on the list and if we get beat, I hope we are scheduled to play again next year. Playing good teams is what makes you stronger. Good luck to all players and coaches, looks like it will be a wet night.

I honestly don't see us losing to Silsbee. that's my opinion, but I can't compair anything to last year for either team. All I do know is Cleveland this year, is as different as day and night compaired to last year, this should be a great game.

By reading the board it would have to be Liberty, they seem to be the hottest thing in 22-3A behind Clodsprings according to some...... if they don't win, well the post count may go down....... Just saying

Good scrimmage for Cleveland, Kingwood was big, fast and twice as many players on the side line. but when it was over, I belive Kingwood had two scores in the untimed portion and Cleveland had one. In the timed portion Kingwood had one and Cleveland had none. We did see some good promise from our D, we had one pick, several forced fumbles. Kingwoods D achived about the same from us. Our O looked good on the running game, passing still needs work. But all in all it was Kingwood 3 Cleveland 1, could have maybe been two, but the whistle was blowed after about 10 yard return on the interception.

History is just that "History" I have enjoyed the debate, but we all know that when Friday night rolls around anything can happen. I do believe that Huffman, Coldsprings and Liberty will be tough teams to play this year. If we went on History, I wouldn't have never believed that after the 08 and 09 season for Cleveland, we would lose every game but 2 last year. But things happen, we lost our AD, the new AD comes in one week before two a days start, first scrimmage game our senior QB gets injured and he's out for the season and things continued to fall apart. Looking at this year, I don't believe any of the teams are stacked and ready to run away with this district, the cream will rise to the top. But I'm pretty sure that Cleveland and Splendora will challenge for the district and play-offs. I don't believe any game this year between Coldsprings, Cleveland, Huffman, Liberty or Splendora will be a easy win. this is all just my opinion, I wish the best for all the players, coaches and fans and look forward to the football season. Come on Sept 23rd so this can be settled.  :) good luck to both teams. Not sure where Cleveland will be at this year, we have alot of talent returning and moving up. can only improve from last year.

Cleveland had so many distractions going on last year i'm really surprised we played at all. But time has passed and we seem to have a dedicated coaching staff in place. We have always had talent, it's just getting it on the field. I feel that we will graduate some distractions from the program this year and mix what we have left with some very talented sophmore and freshman that will be moving up. Cleveland will be back this year and Coldsprings will not walk through 22-3A this year. i think we will have some great games on the way. Come on boys of fall....
