Sorry I don't think your precious Bulldogs are a State Title contender because they beat PNG! Guess what I don't think PNG will get by 19-4A if they face either Dayton or Crosby, maybe not even Noth Forest.

This Nederland team is just not as good as some of the other Nueman led teams have been. The offense is potent, but they struggle defensively. can't do that and win in the playoffs.

And PNG has the same problem. Good offense, poor defense.

It is all about who scores the most points. The 1980 TJ team had a great offense and a poor defense, they went 14-1, and hopefully Nederland already lost their 1 game.

come on now, the only measure at their disposal? maybe the students should have pulled their heads...i refrain from discussing students' nether regions. why not comply and appeal the ruling later?  what was shown was not school spirit, it was a display of self-pride and rebellion, and that is awful. i shame their actions because that is what is truly sad.

More than likely they did not have any shirts with them. Nederland students painted themselves black and used gold letters the didn't have any shirts with them. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's like me telling an adult there sir you have to wear a hat because you don't have any hair and the glare is bothering me. Come on Silsbee Admins. get a life.

I have a problem with the title of this thread, "Nederland Crushes PNG 41-21".

41-21 = high scoring game

63-0 = Crushed   ;D

I can answer these questions you have about Nederland.

A. They have not won an outright district CHAMPIONship since 1965

B.  PNG won district CHAMPIONships in 1992, 1996, tied in 1999, and won again in 2003, and tied     again in 2004.

 

C.  Overall PNG has doubled Nederland in all big time playoff games, with PNG having 8 semi finals appearances to Ned's 4, PNG having 6 final appearances to Neds 3, and PNG having 3 State Chamionships to Neds 1.
