You would know being from Dayton-

Coach is doing a good job we are spread really thin - we stack the defense one game then switch and stack the offense another and a few players get injured and then were lacking depth with only 33 players to pick from. Next year should be a differant story.

Wow!

I know our D wasn't that stellar against PNG but just the same I'm going to take that as a. positive comment for Dayton.(PNG has a stud for a QB ) Crosby has athletes all over the place so we mostly played ball control and our running back had a decent game. Our pass defense was decent too.

Almost forgot the Broncos have some pretty salty 3rd graders in the pipeline!

10/4 - I'm not worried about making the playoffs- I like seeing the improvements we make every week. (Its obvious the kids are coached up ) We are undermanned and hopefully that will change next year!---- Coach Ware is one of those good guys on and off the field.

Good game PNG! you shouldn't have any trouble until you meet up with Crosby and that will be a good game!

Yeah - Jerry Stewart was HC coach then. I remember PNG had a good QB that would throw long passes to a really good WR all night long.

One of those playoff games we had an "All State Kicker" that scored all of Daytons points for the win.( I think he kicked 5 or six field goals )

Ive been smacken this board way before the Ant Hill has been trying to buy there way to the top - I still think our 3rd graders are better than PNG 3rd graders !

Once upon a time we had a real coach named Jerry Stewart he took us to State in 2008. There was a budget shortfall a few yrs later at Dayton ISD so Jerry stepped down as HC but retaned his AD job for practically no money. Well come to find out just because your one of Jerry's assistant coachs (defense) doesn't mean your qualiflied or even close to being a HC as we found out the newly promoted was a vile flunky. After 5 yrs. of damage the Dayton isd School Board and Super regroup and put there heads together to come up with a brilliant new plan to revise the fallen football program with another assistan of Jerrys. This time the old Offensive coach was rehired toAD/HC which when the dust cleared turned out to be another flunky for 4 yrs. So finally in 2020 the board and Super have another apiphany and hire a real coach from New Caney (Ware) and we are starting to rebuild our program again . And now you know the rest of the story! He has about 33 kids on varsity this year to work with. ...

Red Boyou never mentions 7th graders ? So its not OK to respond to another posters question about underclassmen ? I guess you two are the " bust your chops police " - very mature ! --- I watched big NED and Dayton isn't nearly as good as they are so this should be a walk in the park for PNG. good luck !

I have no great expatiations for this Bronco team - I think they are well coached but lack the man power to compete with teams like Crosby who was bigger and better than us. That being said our defense did a respectable job and at least stifled the many home run passes Crosby attempted. During the first half our skinny little RB did a good job at penetrating Crosbys defensive line.- We will get better !
