PNG has to keep that SOC offense inside the numbers. That speed will kill them if they don't. It's HS football, the level of talent and football IQ isn't at an all-time high. Athleticism beats technical tackling, rushing, and passing at this level. I see it being within 10 points at half, but eventually SOC will make the athletic plays to set themselves apart. Expect to see deep balls over the top of the Indian defense in the 3rd and 4th QTR's. When the defense falls back into coverage to stop the deep ball threat, expect to see the QB use his legs. You don't have to be the world's best coach or offensive coordinator to call that offensive scheme.

Missed calls will happen, that's part of the game. As an official, clear and concise communication with players and coaches is key. Brief descriptions to coaching staff are key. Many times, officials will sit there and try to have a full-on conversation about a call with a coach. This always leads to losing span of control of the game. Hope the young man recovers. Looking forward to the remainder of the 5A DII playoffs.

I was told that a SOC player picked up and body slammed the Mt Pleasant player and that kid had to leave in an ambulance. Anyone at the game have footage of this? SOC playing dirty as usual?
