We thought the same thing, my wife is a King grad and we were going till they chose Waco. I can’t believe there aren’t any great stadiums between here and Austin, why go way up there?

My sophomore year at Hardin we moved from 2A to 3A for the first time. We played our former 2A opponents as non district games and were undefeated going into district. I was a starting LB and I’ll never forget coming from small town Hardin into Beaumont and playing in this huge stadium lol. I think we won 2 or3 district games, I’ll always wonder about “what could have been” if we had stayed 2A that year. Johnny Marsh at QB, Anthony Scott and Daniel Marsh at running backs, man what a team that was. I’m super proud of this years team, way to go boys!!
