I'd have to look up LCM, but I dont think Silsbee demographics are much different than LCM, HF, or even HJ. Silsbee in the last few years has done a pretty good job of getting skill kids to stay in the program, but they still have a few that go straight basketball. This day and age, as close as all these schools are to one another, it would be real easy to loose athletes to other schools, if you didnt sell them on your program. Silsbee doesn't have the athletes Jasper and WOS have. A big part of their students come from Caney Head, and that ought to tell you something.

This might be the only winnable game for Tigers till second district game. They get Nederland next, and their the next 5A div2 state champions, then West Brook, and who knows there, loaded with numbers, then Hitchcock , next 3A div1 state champion, then H F, the predicted District Champion. Dont be easy

was told ,there is couple freshman, that are good, but not mentally ready for varsity, mayb later in the year? I'm just guessing here, but they will limit the Def reps for Farr, to help him b stronger at running back. The issue is, they throw the ball a lot, and Farr is much better pass blocker than Gaines, the running back is key in pass protection. Gaines is really good on Defense also, especially when they start playing spread teams.

I was told D L got the better of them on the goal line work. O L is young, gonna b a learning curve, and the D L is really good. I'll go out on a limb and say the nose tackle will be the Defensive player of the year in District, staying healthy of coarse.

Just my opinion, but I think Sealy is gonna give Bellville some trouble, they might be the team that surprises everybody. Giddings will be much better, but they don't have the skill kids to compete with the Bellvilles of the world. They use to, but not anymore, demographics now, and based on what's in the elementary level, not so good. Rumer has it, HC didnt get renewed, and that could be good or bad, depending on your way of thinking?

Farr is a beast at RB, but he is a legitimate D1 Linebacker, so depends on where he plays the most? Gaines ,Im told is RB. Coaches think this years Defense will be really good, much better with front 7, DB s young though. OL is young, but Huge, Offense will be more like 18 and 19 teams, but a better QB. Time will tell, This team might be the sleeper, nobody sees coming

Sealy will be the team to beat in District, running the old Cuero offense , but one thing for sure is, week 11 will be like an open week for yall going into the playoffs. The Hornets are just terrible.

7 on 7, should give us an idea who might step up? The speed is there , just heard they are not consistent at catching the ball. But , when this young big O line learns all the schemes, and gels, as the season progresses , look out. Keeping all healthy is always the key.

I'll say this, Silsbee will be there before BC will.
