PNG’s OC and O line coaches from last year left. I’m not saying PNG would have won with them this year but pointing out that the staffs are not exactly the same.

Hopefully Randle can take out SOC if it comes down to those two.

Yeah the district alignment is another separate issue, but I can understand the challenge in trying to make even districts with new schools and population changes across the state. All of district 8 should have been in region 3, and the Waco district 10 should have been in region 2.

That’s too bad. Now PNG is all that’s left in the district. Let’s see if they can survive next week.

It didn’t impact Dayton because they didn’t make the playoffs. Ned was definitely screwed though having to drive up to Texarkana. And we’ll see how well Huntsville does today against SOC.

PNG sneaking away with 1st in division was big considering who they got to play this week. This reminds me that because winning the division can be such an advantage in the playoffs, I don’t typically get upset when teams run up the score during the regular season (within reason). You never know when point spreads might come into play for district tiebreaker scenarios. With that said, if you’re good enough none of that should matter. The best teams will keep winning against anyone!

Hasn’t SOC always had easy district schedules though? That has not impacted their recent playoff performances.
