It’s a little baffling how close LC has their safeties play to the box. If they don’t have the players for that scheme what are the coaches thinking? Either way, it’s good news for Nederland’s run game. 😀

Rooting for Nederland but LC will probably win this. Ned has a chance though with LC’s subpar run defense this year. It could be close.

Nederland could have a chance at the last spot with the way LC’s defense has been playing.

Two interceptions thrown by LC’s Marcos. He’s rattled. And LCs defense is still bad. .

It’s borderline nuts that PNG ISD does this for a HS football game. Does Nederland or any other district also do this for long distance away games?

According to max preps this all time series is tied 3-3. Montgomery almost won last year but missed a last minute field goal.

You mis-quoted him about the hostile spots. He said “when I was at the woodlands we played at some hostile spots”. (He used to be a coach at the woodlands HS) Regardless, LC seems to have lost a step or two this year. PNG might win by at least a few TDs

Magnolia appears to be a solid 6A team. I wonder if this is similar to PNG playing PA Memorial?

The only other schedule I could find from anyone else in the new district is Huntsville’s on twitter.

The Montgomery ISD stadium is also pretty tiny on the visitor’s side, which is odd considering that they used to be 6A.
