The talent wasn't there the last few yrs, They are at Silsbee and PAM and other schools. Thats not the case now, The Best middle schoolers are at WB from a few yrs ago. WB JV beat Silsbee 34-0 because the talent is young. I think WB misses the playoffs this yr but will make it next season as their talent becomes upperclassman. Lumberton scored on a muff punt and a last second heave with a minute on the Clock. WB was the superior team that day. The score didn't show it. IF WB wins they will say they was suppose to b/c its the bigger school. If Silsbee win they will say, told you so. Really can't win the debate.

JV and fresh play tonight.The fresh team will most likely crush Silsbee. A couple of yrs ago the best middle school players all came WB. Those kids wasn't losing to North Shore by 50. They lost by 7. Beat Summer Creek. Those kids are Sophs, Jrs. Speed and depth is going to be a issue. Its crazy to think they lose by 20 points. Rose colored glasses? I didn't predict a winner.

Westbrook was in control of that game. They never was close to losing. It was 19-10 with less than a min on the clock. Lumberton lost to Jasper by less than 20. Styles make fights.

West Brook is in a rebuild while the Tigers need the test for the playoffs. Both needed the game for their goals. I don't believe it will be a blow out at all b/c of depth of WB. People don't realize we have classifications for a reason. WB was losing in one of the toughest districts in Texas which caused kids to transfer to other schools. WB, Soph and Fish classes have stuck together. Two of those Soph are number 11 and number 1. They will give Silsbee issues. WB has been playing defense and running the ball, they already have more rushing yds this season than last yr. Silsbee on the other hand may be short the depth but have their winning culture in place and knows how to win close games. Should be a good game.

The QB for Westbrook is pretty good. He should be Player of the Week. He had 5 tds last week. Just turned 15 and is a Soph. He will be a name around here soon.

Westbrook has 14 kids starting in other places from the 25 and 26 class. The 27 and 28 class those kids came to West Brook. Its about to get better at WB.

West brook is rebuilding and need some wins to build confidence. They starting a Soph at QB and will be young. Its not like they need a ND schedule to get ready for the playoffs.

IMO PAM had a successful season and lost to a better team. Forney has 2400 students at thier school. PA has a ton of ath but how many true FB players? The focus has to be thier from all parts. PAM best players are sophs and jrs. They will be a playoff team for yrs to come.

Forney is a 6a team and PAM best players are youngsters. They will be a power house in a few yrs.
