Yes and assistant HC...And LCM will feel the pain from this loss. He carried ALOT of weight towards lcms success. You never heard alot other than people there and in the system. Peevys right hand man

Orangefield got the right guy. He brings intensity. With all due respect in my opinion an upgrade to Smalley. I am truly excited for my cross

I don’t think it’s that big of a loss.  That system has been in place for 3 years now so shouldn’t be hard to continue with different style of Off leadership.

    Zero Clue?

Here is one simple clue, He is a OF alum and coached there already years ago under Flanigan (his mentor)

Money isn't that much less than what he is at now at LCM. The OF job is still over 100k a year. Peevey is a simple man (NOT an insult by any means), he isn't greedy and looking for a huge payday. He would rather spread the money around to get good quality assistants and to have money for facility upgrades.

Money isn't everything when you have a chance to "go home"

Peevey to OF. Wheels in motion already

If Peevey doesn't go, Chris Pachuca, Brandon Prouse, and Jeff Breaux are the front runners

OF facilities are subpar and Peevey just rebuilt LCM's field.  Now on to the stands, lights and facilities.  He's also not going to bail on next year's LCM team which should win the district.  His OC is applying for the OF job, so not going to step on his toes.

He coached a team to the state championship game, then went to LiCk'eM where they celebrate coming in second in District to Lum. If that's not a fall from grace, I don't know what one looks like, I guess.

    He's Crouch 2.0....

Give me a break, Crouch 2.0?  Yes, you're obviously delusional, but not surprising.  Crouch's best record was 7-3, Peevey's first year he bested that at 11-3 where we missed the finals by 2 games and he won Bum Phillips coach of the year.  Pretty similar if you ask me and far from a fall from grace.  How's BC's record the past 5-10-15 years?  Yall over .500?  Not even close.

Why don’t you mind your business while you finish ruining peavey’s career by being so…..y’all.

Ruining his career...?  lol   1 district championship already, 2nd in district this year, 3 winning seasons in a row for the first time ever, and favorite for another DC next year.  Yeah, it sucks over here right now, especially for Peevey.  Lol

As a school that was formerly the smallest team in our 4A D1 district (and possibly the entire classification), let me state for the record that it sucks.  The range of students in D1 is huge, and it doesn’t help that schools in that district are huge for D1. Lum, Vidor, LiCk’eM, and Huffman, are usually flirting with 5A D2 numbers. I used to correctly state that you could add the entire enrollment of Newton to BC and our total attendance still wouldn’t be as large as the next-smallest school in our district. It’s no fun to go out on Friday and watch your team get sat on by a bigger bunch of unathletic kids. They just beat on sheer size and numbers.

I’m not happy that we’re headed back up to D1. I’d rather get out-athleted in our D2 district than lose to a bunch of crappy (but bigger) schools.

LOL...BC complaining about moving up to get destroyed by bigger "crappy schools"?  BC had the largest jump in enrollment numbers and the 2nd worst record in D2.  What does that say about your program and your "unathletic kids"?   Stop blaming others for the state of your program.    And LCM isn't anywhere close to moving up to 5AD2, we actually went down in enrollment.

Calling kids by name on this site is inappropriate. The coaches LCM has are well capable of handling the team. I also don’t always agree with everything that happens but I know they are looking out for the kids and doing their best to win not just this year but getting players ready for the next year.

You’re right, my bad on the naming players.  New to the board, still learning the ropes.

Worster had a nice drive at the end of the game.  I think the offense doesn't match the players skill set. Peevy is collecting a big pay check and you will probably have some unhappy customers.

Worster looked great!  And Payne has looked pretty good stat wise so far.  But if it's not working, it's not working.  They've had Worster on JV all this year for some reason.  Lewis is definitely NOT the answer at QB, he's horrible both physically and mentally.

  8. That was utterly embarrassing last night.  Pull the starters that weren't getting it done, especially when you have underclassman who are quitting/giving up.  Need to try something else.  And the play calling this whole year has been horrendous.  Last week the OC calls a screen pass with 24 seconds left in the half which gets pick 6'd instead of taking a knee and going in with momentum.  2 point conversion vs WOS...wth?  These calls are killing any momentum we have.  These coaches are blowing it with their personnel choices as well, their blatant and obvious special treatment of subpar underclass players is disgusting.  There is a ton of talent on this team, but they continually play the same guys with the same outcome.  Absolutely zero discipline and no accountability will be the slow death of this coaching staff.
