[/quote] When we played, they divided the amount of teams into 30 players, thats how they got a number, so yes PNG has 3 teams they send more than kountze who as 1 team.

My nephew played in this a few years ago. It kids made up of all teams in the age division. Just an extra game that allows from other cities get a chance to [;ay together. The kids had a good time.

I would say Lumberton White looked a lot better than Blue and Nederland handled a good Vidor team, BC & WOS was an old fashion defensive game. Blue did not look like the best team left based on last week performance and size DOES NOT matter 8)

No pass play for youth players should be handled by the parents. Thats what wrong now, goverment and others want stick their nose in everyones business. And parents should be the ones handling the issues with thier kids, not a league. I agree queen. Now, would expect that coaches would emphasize good grades and staying out of trouble.

I think everyone is really missing both side of the argument. 1st, there cannot be any seeding until the 1st and 2nd place teams are define, there is not a seeding issue at this time. How do you break a tie within a division? 2nd issue, the document does not say how to do that, however it does show how it is done in the SR division. So it makes sense that the you would use that to get a division winner and runner up. Then you would use the seeding guidelines to seed all teams. Althoug the document is horribly written, it is not that complicated. Play ball, have fun... parents chill Glad we are in school ball.

Back when my son played in the league, 7-1 would sitting at home. Back then only 4 temas made to the playoffs. So, it could be worse. They have the seeding rules online. I am sure if someone can come up with something better, they will listen. From what I read, you need to place 1st or 2nd in your division to seed 1 through 6, then other 2 teams are the best overall record. Look at the NFL, it is kind of the same way. There is always a wild card team with a better record than a division winner. Just my 2 cents.

What are going to talk to me about? I expect WOS to be in the superbowl, I expect they will win. So what is there to talk about. And yes if you play basbeall in Houston, #1 seed plays early games against the last seed. I understand baseball is different, but they do that sometimes because the last seed has to get up early as well and more than likely the #1 seed will win regarless of time. Then the #1 seed has a lot of time off. By the way, Jyhou need to check the schedule the game starts at 8:30 not 8. so its not as bad as you keep saying. check the website and stop whinning. I also saw some post about going to meetings, good maybe you will understand that board memebers are spending 5 hours trying to screw you. They look at the big picture.

I have coaches and served on board, coaching is a lot easier than taking 6 hours or more a month in meetings. I think the STJFL and other leagues would love for people to show and show interest, thats how things get better. Look at previous years seeding, I bet you different cities have done it. Dude let it go. #1 seed plays early all the time in baseball. Besides with all your mouthing talking about destroying little kids on the playing field, running up scores, and making fun of kids that score because they are happy (not because they think they won the superbowl) or you sure you are not violating a code of conduct spweing all the hostile crap. Grow up dude, it is youth football. WOS stands for class in my opinion, why do they let you coach???? With all that talent over there, I am sure they can find someone who handles stuff a lot better than a big mouth. Good luck to the young boys, they are very talented and deserve respect, as for as the big mouth coach, you need to show class.

Hey TD, i was told a fight broke out between the two teams. Then a course the parents got involve and then it turn out to be a brawl. They're trying to keep it under the radar at this time. Let it would've been WOS it would have made the WORLD NEWS and be ban from the STJFL for Life. This is how rumors get started. I was told by someone that was there that 2 kids were fighting. Players were ejected. NO BRAWL, all the coaches on the field discussed the issue and the boys were ejected. No issues with parents and coaches.

Quarter Switch unless coaches agree otherwise....We usually do not switch at quarters in our Jr Games. Just curious since we started out every quarter for the first few games then just at half but this was the first game that we didn't switch at all. Each weekend it is amazing the new things that I learn that I thought I already knew. This weekend it was told that they just give warnings for some penalties instead of throwing a flag (i.e.-non-obvious face mask was a warning & only a penalty if it was obvious). A face mask is a face mask regardless of someone's opinion as to obvious or not. There were others that weren't called either but this specific one was discussed. It is confusing how it is decided when to use all the rules or just some. Some refs seem to take youth football to teach kids. It is the coaches job to that and should just call the game. But in your case they may have seen hands close to the facemask (on the helmet) and they just warned them. For as the quaters, they will ask the coaches if it matters to them. If both agree, they leave it to save some time and have to mark the yardline and move the chain gang. Really no big deal on that.
