I foresee a fantastic friday night outing for both teams with the one holding the ball last coming out on top. No doubt you will see lots of a different looks from the Bears offensively. Winning this game would put Little Cypress in a much better playoff spot so I can definitely see Peevey pulling out all the stops. They've had their ups and downs this year but persevering through trials can have its benefits. This will be one of the better tests for Lumberton this year and will only make them better. The key for them defensively will be if their linebackers can hold back Morris. Offensively they'll need to establish the run early to keep the ball out away from the Bear's potent offense. I could definitely see their current run coming to an end and the Bears winning in a close one. Here's to an injury free game! Go Bears!

If the "they" you are referring to in this statement is the coaches of an opposing team, you may need to brush up on the consequences that can occur if the UIL discovers that recruiting is going on. Coaches have received multi-year and lifetime suspensions, losing their career along with consequences for the school as a whole.

What was supposed to happen has happened.

Two totally different teams, Vidor will pound and pound and pound the ball controlling the clock and your possessions. Not the biggest or fastest opponent but they play hard with good fundamentals. The slot T's weakness comes to light if a team can stop them for three to four straight possessions and take advantage. The worse situation you could be running that offense is being down two+ scores with time not on your side. Livingston has a ton of speed and size but they lack in fundamentals with their special teams killing them in the game against the Bears. Livingston needs to win this game more than Vidor does if they don't want to face CHill or Kilgore in the first round. Should be a good game

Silsbee has been blowing out opponents including West Orange start but it's hard to keep that kind of momentum forever. No stupid mistakes and Silsbee wins this no contest but don't let your guard down against this talented HF team.

In the last two decades Vidor is up on LCM 10 games to 6 games. The last win was in 2013. Of course they took a break when they went to 5A for four years.

That coach left (See LC-M) and kids have moved to HF, Vidor and to private schools due to school safety/covid policies.

IF the Bears execute and continue the play scheme from Livingston they should be fine. Morris right and Morris left with short passes to keep Dean in a rhythm and the offensive on the field. Don't get "cute" and play football.
