HD played a really good game, Alto's QB and RB were big. Alto did run the ball a lot, but the few times they threw the ball the QB had a decent arm. They may throw the ball some if they have to, but they were averaging at least 6 yards a carry yesterday

Turnovers killed the Bobcats against Groveton and almost got them beat by Lovelady, if they can cut down on the turnovers they should be fine

the only reason i called shepherd garbage is because bullsonparade called Hardin garbage when he was comparing the wins. Either way beating either of the teams isn't saying much and won't prove anything until the game tonight!

i know this has nothing to do with the game that's being played tonight but i just found this interesting stat about Kountze's rich football history.
Kountze has the second most consecutive losses of all-time in Texas. 53 - KOUNTZE, 1977-82

and y'alls "claim to fame" is a win over Shepherd...wow, really?!?! I don't know how this game will turn out or how "good" Kountze really is this year, but you guys are talking like Kountze is a powerhouse and can't be beat!

I think if Kountze can throw the ball then H-D might be in trouble. The secondary is a little undersized. If hardin would've stuck with the passing game they may have scored a few more TD's.
But with that being said i think HD win's this game against Kountze in a close one, i just don't see the offense HD runs blowing anyone out.

I would love to see Garrett Hickman run the ball more and Huckaby to get moved to backup QB. Never know. Chris Herman is a great player and athlete, he is powerful, he should be in the trenches. The cats looked well disciplined and decent against a below average Hardin team, but to say this is the most talented team since the 90's is a little over the top.

i haven't seen the bobcats play yet this season, but i've been hearing a lot about the new coach and the change in the attitudes of the players. I went and watched Hardin scrimmage Liberty and Orangefield and they could barely move the ball. The didn't look like much on defense either. I'm not sure if HD will win this game, but they better beat Hardin after what i seen the other night or else it may be another long season.
