Maybe CH will see our size and think they will have their way with us and counter their intimidation tactics and we can punch 'em in the mouth early and often on offense and defense and let them know the Pirates came to play and WIN. One thing about the Pirates over the years, they aren't intimidated by any team, especially this group.

Nole is correct about Lindale's QB. He's tall, athletic, has great field vision and has a strong arm. He has that ball out of his hands quick once it's snapped and knows his reads - so he knows where he wants to go with the ball. They have a huge TE that is quick and also plays DE as well. I really think Lumberton's O can have their way with their secondary and stretch the field but Lindale is not afraid to get in a track meet with anyone and it's been proven they aren't afraid since last year. Lumberton's best friend Friday will be the clock, and being very methodical with their drives and coming away with points every possession as possible. I really like the Raiders defense compared to Lindale's D. Go Raiders! Blow that air horn and let Lindale know that L-Train is coming full throttle. Make 'em hear it early and often and all night for 48 minutes. 10-4A-I versus everybody!

Just watched some videos from the JV team on YouTube, I didn't realize how much size we had on that team. But we have a few RBs from the JV already moved up to varsity.

Exactly what I thought myself, it kinda took the wind out of the black pearls sails losing Seppy for the season. But to overcome the deficit they did against a great Lumberton team should give the Pirates alot of confidence and momentum going into the game Friday night.

I absolutely hate hearing about this, especially right when the playoffs are beginning. I heard about the LB, and I told RaiderGirl that during pretty much the first half, I seen him limping and grabbing his knee. Hate that for y'all!

Y'all will definitely be able to move the ball and stretch Lindale and their defense out. Defensive wise, their QB can sling it and has the ball out of his hands quick so it's hard to get pressure on him. Lumberton's D just has to keep the ball in front of them and try not to give up the big play.

The Pirates will be well prepared and I know they're watching extra film this week. I know we will be able to move the ball, we've been able to all year. The secondary seems to be suspect every few weeks so I have no clue what's popping out of that toaster Friday! 😂 All I know is that vanilla coverage with a single high safety ain't gonna work, and we gotta dial up a blitz ever so often just to keep their offensive line guessing cause they're gonna double #99 no matter what.

Vidor should be fine til the next realignment but I know the 7th grade class is HUGE, so I'm pretty sure we will be back in 5A when that class hits high school.

Tyler Chapel Hill 7-3 (3-3) will face off against the Vidor Pirates 8-1 (4-1) in Humble at Turner Stadium on Friday, November 12th at 7 PM. The one common opponent they have is Livingston which CH defeated in week two by a score of 35-15 and which Vidor also defeated a few weeks ago 40-7. One thing that comes off interesting to me, is that all three of the Bulldogs losses were to the other 9-4A-I playoff teams. All of them were pretty much blowouts besides the Palestine game. What are your thoughts, predictions, or what do you expect come Friday night?
