You tell me Skip. Our best jv players played varsity at some point this year. But I gather that's like most schools that have injured players. Just move up the next man an continue on. Jv wins or losses don't always determine a varsity teams future. Some are just more blessed than others from what they have to choose from. Jmo

To me, the current setup works well.  At the end of the day, if you have more kids in the school, you are more than likely going to be deeper.  This is even more true when you talk about the elite programs from each classification.
 
Off topic, but I would like to see a Cameron/Newton non-district game in the future.  That would be a good one for Sam Houston.

Just got an email that Jerry Jones sent the Cowboys' bus to pick up Navasota this morning.  He is also paying for their rooms and meals.  Evidently he talked to them in their locker room 2 years ago and was really impressed with their attitudes and sportsmanship.
