  1. Gilmer’s schedule is the 2nd toughest (based on opponents’ record) and the 4th toughest (based on opponents’ power rating) in Class 4A-II according to PigskinPrep.com

    Gilmer’s three losses were to Chapel Hill, Kilgore and Texarkana Pleasant Grove; teams with a combined record of 37-5. Chapel Hill is playing in the 4A D-I State Championship game

    Bellville's schedule is the 24th toughest (based on opponents’ record) and the 32nd toughest (based on opponents’ power rating) in Class 4A-II according to PigskinPrep.com

    Bellville's first 11 games were against teams with a losing record.

    In contrast; look at Gilmer's schedule. Only 5 opponents with losing records and 10 with winning records. Our opponents combined record is 101-62 while Bellville's opponents combined record is 73-81

  4. I need Jasper Team and individual stats for my coverage of this weekend's playoff game between Gilmer and Jasper.  I have most of Jasper's individual game stats except for the last game against Center.

    I am happy to share any Gilmer stats if someone can provide me with the Center game stats and/or complete season stats.
  5. If you are involved with your school's internet broadcast of football games please reply to this thread and let me know what company and/or software you use; do you use a cell phone, hard line, or other device, especially if there is no internet connection in a press box, etc.

    We are having trouble with our internet broadcasts especially with school's firewall's blocking the data stream out from their servers.

    Any ideas, suggestions, etc.????

        Passing 200 of 317 for 2,858 yards, 39 TD's

        Passing 179 of 269 for 3,468 yards, 50 TD's

        Rushing 271 carries for 2,186 yards, 28 TD's

    In the last 5 seasons, Gilmer has rushed the football more than 50% of the time.  The Buckeyes rushing yardage total has been more than the passing yardage in 3 of the last 5 seasons.
