Wow, what a nail biter. This was a great game from my vantage point. I had no idea what WOS had this year, but I have always had great respect for the team, and town Good Luck the rest of the season.

One can have 50 years experience, or one year experience 50 times. Just sayin’. I get your HOF comment though.

I'm sure that's right, but at no time did I hear enough scoring to explain the score. I went to Lone Star this morning and they had it at 48-30 Newton. A guy answered me back last night and said he was at the game, and the score was 52-22. Go figure.

I feel like I'm in the stinking twilight zone. I listened to the game on Meridix, and the announcers were saying the score was 48-12 Newton. They even announced the final score several times as 48-12. The play by play guy kept saying Williams at QB, or at least it sounded like that. Woods don't sound anything like Williams. This don't make one lick of sense.

Who is playing QB for Newton. The only Williams on the roster is a Freshman, and he is not listed as a QB

My fondest memory of WOS Grad was the time I was panicking to get streaming of a Newton Eagle playoff,game. I couldn't find it anywhere. I came to SETX sports and ask the question as to where I could find it, and as quick as a wink, Todd had it loaded on to this site. I enjoyed the game, with much reference to Todd for his quick response. He was a man of few words, but a kind heart. Rest In Peace Todd Newtonres 75-86

Thanks a lot WOSgrad. Sorry to be so much trouble. I searched for about an hour, and finally was able to find this weeks SETX broadcast schedule. I should be good to go in the weeks ahead. I do appreciate your efforts. well persistence pays off. After a little strategic reading, I finally found the easy way to find the broadcast site.🤓 I've learned a lot in the last hour.Lol . Man I feel stupid!!

For the life of me, I don't know what the problem is with penalties and mistakes. This is a very experienced team. These kids have been running this offense for years now. I always thought penalties were caused by a lack of concentration, being beat by your direct opponent and/or lack of attention. Mistakes came from inexperienced players. None of this should be effecting this team. These kids have superior talent, and should hold their own with most players they are up against. Make no mistake. If this continues it will jump up and bite them in the butt sooner or later. Thank you Captain Obvious.
