1. I will be there, tickets in hand, sporting a battle red shirt....Go Titans.
2. Went to the game it was a defensive game, until PAM got behind then the playbook opened up. Go Titans
3. Cant we all just get along?????? I dont totally agree with what JY is doing but like someone said earlier they do their thing with CLASS so its cool, plus I can do nothing to change it so why get all upset? My kid dont play for them or against them......
4. A buddy of mine left the 5a game early to attend the Yates game, hope he got in. Other than the Toyota Center where in Houston could the game have held so many people....????
5.
Actually Labradford Smith graduated from Bay city in 1987...Not bad.Dropped 39 on M. Jordan one night in the league. The next time they met, Jordan had 35 at the half, and went on to blow em out. L. Smith could fly, but had a short stint in the league with Washington.
You are quite right, it was the 87 and we lost but it was a good game.....
6. I would have to say the Lincoln-Bay City game in 1989 Regional Finals. Tip off BJ Tyler Dunk, LaBradford Smith right back down for a dunk. That set the tone for a good game between hated rivals.....We won the game and state.
7.
Nederland the new "Lincoln Bumble Bee's"
That is sacreligious, watch your mouth...........
8. Whats Memorial's district record, and how many games left......
9.

Well AG!  THE best out of Jaguar land has to be Damon Sweet!  THE best out of Lincoln has to be Stephen Jackson. THE best out of Westbrook has to be Luke Jackson but Sneed is pushing him!  I think THE best out of your school has to be Thadeous Holden.  THE best out of TJ has do be Darious Hayes.. THE best out of Memorial has to be Jacovin Brown.   THE best out of Ozen is Perk.
Best out of TJ was Brannon Hayes. I think you confused him with Darious Brannon who played for Lincoln about same time. You really think Stephen Jackson was better in HS than McElroy and BJ Tyler and Anthony Allen???? I just looked up that Lincoln has 23 players who were all-state from 1973 to 2001!!!!! Yes Jackson has had a better career, but McElroy was the best HS player IMO. But I didnt see all the others since some were before my time. Same with Keena Young and Perkins @ Ozen. Young was the better HS player.
Stephen Jackson was not the best to come outta the HIVE, I have seen BJ, Mac, Red(Anthony Allen), Leonard Allen, Kelvin McKyer, ect. They say a guy by the name of Earl "The Pearl Evans was the best to ever don a Bees Uniform, played both NBA and CBA, and was ranked 2nd in the nation only to Moses Malone, who went to the pros after HS.....That I've seen either BJ or Mac....
10.
PNG's Fab Five (my opinion) 1. John Worthington 2. Jamel Durasau (Sp) 3. Travis Thompson 4. Travis Weathersbee 5. Damon Kerr I know Thompson went to ETBU, and heard something about Weathersbee going to UT-Tyler. Worthington and Jamel went to Lamar Pa, Damon did not decide to go play anywhere. So PNG does produce collegiate athletes just not much.
You must not have seen Bobby Straface play that cay was one of the top PG's when he played.....
11.
I cant hate on Yates. the team that they're facing just needs to D up and land their shots if they dont wanna get beat. Nobody was saying anything when in '94 Nolan Richardson and the Hogs were pressing teams being up sometimes 30 in the second half of games.
Just like the 91 UNLV team.....
12. The team itself is one thing, but coaching is the other half in fielding a winning team. I have no doubt that the great James Gamble would devise a scheme to not only slow em down but to out score em on offense. The bees teams of the 80s/90s would give em fits. Especially the 86 team led by Anthony Allen, the 6'8" Georgetown shotblocker. The 81 team with all its height and ball handling Guards, The 88-89 teams with BJ Tyler/ Brian Sallier. Real area HS enthusiasts have to concur......
13. I bet the 1988 or 1989 State Champeen Bumblebees would give them Lions a run for the money, Yates can be beat...Every team has a chink in the armor, you would have to out coach them because they are too athletic.....
14. Yates is a very talented team no doubt but as a bumblebee we also had teams that were THAT good and yet you never saw coach Gamble trounce an already defeated foe it was called class. Yates coach has a lot to learn in that dept.....
15. Could you please keep us updated as to the scores I am at work and link wont work..
16. A team is the mirror image of its coach, unprepared coach unprepared team, hard working smart coach same team, weak coach(Wade Phillips) weak team...
