ChampionEagle i understand what you are saying and ON PAPER or in a PERFECT WORLD it would make sense.  However, a little birdie told me that this isn't the case.  I'm not name calling here (atleast this time), but have you stopped and really, really, really thought about what you are saying?  I'm sure if you did it would seem like a total setup for a copout for your post following nov. 6th

With the loss to Shelbyville last week, how bad will this one be?

The cutoff numbers haven't came out yet.  They probably won't comeout or be heard about til just before the new alignments are made.  there is really no use in guessing.  based on the past however the numbers for cutoff have almost always went up by 10-20.  I would think that with Kirbyville's snapshot enrollment only up 6 from last time to 432, they will remain a terror in 2A.

And I'm pretty sure that if Kirbyville was to say this game don't mean anything and go along with what (not the)champion(right now)eagle said it would be heard from Nov. 4th til the next time they played.  I'm completely understanding what you are saying but do you think for one second that either team would let the other one use that as an excuse?  I don't.

It was a nice surprise to see Jones start at QB so late in the season.  After watching him in the Hemphill game I figured it was either a matter of time or we would have a great backup. Cucancic did a good job so far this year leading but putting him out at receiver and Jones taking the snap makes the Cats a very two dimensional team.  Not to mention he showed he has great hands to go along with the speed we all knew he has.  They had a couple hiccups along the way with getting the play in, don't know why that has always been a problem, but overall the offense ran alot smoother last night.  Great job!  Now rest some of those that need it this coming week, but don't overlook.  There are plenty of guys on the sideline that can step up and insure a win this friday, including some guys that are floating back and forth with JV it seems, to better prepare the team physically for the following weeks to come.

well that's funny you mention that because most schedule changes only happen every other year, i think someone is full of ........ ;D

If he was a KID his name wouldn't be in the paper!!!! Clearly he is not a minor and when did we decide that 17-18 year old kids are off limits for scrutiny. Our government and it's many liberals bash them everyday.

gentlemen, there is time and a place for everything. emotions run high when it is your kid involved. however it gives no one the right to yell and throw a temper tantrum in front of other people in a public setting. no matter if you pay taxes or not. If you are that unhappy with the situation confront the individual in a private setting when both parties are clear headed atleast at first (hopefully). yes i agree maybe a boo here and there is ok at times, it's part of the emotion tied into the game. what kind of example do you set for the kids that sit there watching this. we all know that teenagers are impressionable people as we use to be one ourselves. im not saying that i haven't had a moment where i slipped and said somethings i shouldn't have, because i have. i paid my fines (about $250) and became a better person by learning from my stupidity. all this does is embaress the kids of that parent and what does it say about the home life?

Don't wink at me...lol ;D Maybe I moved us up a little far, even though we are that good - but we shouldn't have dropped out entirely. OF is definitely up too far - reminds me of Texas Tech...they can score but cant stop anybody (besides HF & Tarkington). Corrigan & Coldspring while good, shouldn't be in the ranking - maybe east tex ranking REALLY??? ;D ;D

Eaglefan01, are you kiddin?? Who has Arp played......NOBODY!!! This game shouldn't been close, Kirbyville had I don't know how many muffed punts last year. Arp had a good team, but the better team won. Thats crazy for you to get on here and say Kirbyville don't have enough to stay close this season. I guess you don't think we have enough to beat Newton either huh? Not crazy just true. and if you google Muleshoe football you will 4 games on line fron 2009. This year. # 20 and # 44 are in the back field. check it out. Good looiking football team. Now if they have 2 differant guys that look and run the same with the same numbers well that's possible I guess. Kville will get beat by 30 points by Arp. telling ya'll he hit his head, and it was probably because he was banging it on the floor in a crying fit after last years game when we tried everything in the world to give it to them (huge silver platter full of muffed punts) and and they didn't have what it took to take it
