90+% wins over teams with losing records or lower class teams aren't exactly numbers worth much. Babin is a good guy. We all probably agree. But on the football side, he's very average at best. Watched alot of games over past years, most players that come in as freshmans, aren't much better when they are seniors. He doesn't develop players. Offense is so predictable. 2 years of 4A has been nice. Complained for years about being smallest 5A, were one of the biggest 4A.. Not much difference in results

Impressive win..lol. It is what it is. Got a game in. What gets me is beating up on a 2A school and not playing your bench more. Especially the seniors that won't get much playing time in district. And before someone comes to Babin defense, I know of some seniors who got 4 plays or less. Rediculous. Should've played them whole 2nd have. As he should've in Kville game. Guess big blowout more important than treating some kids right. And No...I do not have a kid playing..

I remember years back when Kountze had their run with the Hancock boys. Think there were 3 or 4 brothers. They were solid.

Something happened last weekend with HJ tourney and conflict with other school event. Dunno know all the details. I've heard both quit and I've heard one quit and one got kicked off. Either way...they not on team as of this past Monday

Every QB lumberton will have under Babin will be a runner. Cause that's what he does. Doesn't change or deviate. You can teach kids the passing game and how to throw. Your right..with qb every day and had him as QB most of season, and he cant teach him to throw a slant or a bubble screen? 2 easy routes that we never use.That falls in the coaching, not the kid. I know Boykin. He can throw, but you gotta develop at least a package of pass plays...SMH Can't wait for you to says how great a 6-6 season and 4th place district finish in 4A is. With only one quality win (Huff). But its cool...

Gotta have a coach that wants to throw it. Develop the players. Babin just wants to run it. Koch and Carr are capable receivers. Got a 6-7 TE that may get 1 look a game. Get the running backs involved. Screen game. Not that complicated. Its not the kids, its the system.
