Man I wanted to go bad this weekend. Saturday I couldnt find anyone to go and sunday was Mother's day. doh! Mothers day needs to be moved to like January.
-
Nah it was 40-50ft deep where we were at but nothing was biting that deep. We were free-lining our bait and Im just estimating that the bait was 20-30 deep when the fish were biting.

Me and a few friends went out last weekend out of sabine. We went around 40 miles out and the snapper bite was pretty good. By 1pm or so we had our 6 limits of snapper and went looking for ling. No luck though we probably hit a dozen rigs looking for em. Found some sharks, jacks, and a few reds but that was about the extent of it. Best snapper bite was around the rigs maybe 20-30 deep. We tried fishing a little bit off the bottom but not much luck. We had the best luck free-lining a chuck of cigar minnow.

My boat is a 18' sea stealth with a yamaha 90 on it. Ive been about 40 miles out in it. I just dont have enough fuel to run much further. PM sent.

Haha true dat. I was looking at going this weekend but the wind is supposed to be 10-20mph ene but otherwise nice.
-
Monster whatever. Snapper, cobia, dorado, kings, jacks, sharks, whatever. Whats biting?
-
Well whats the fishing lookin like? ;D Im about ready to haul in some monsters.

Anyone know of a good charter service I can use that goes out of Sabine Pass? Im looking to go 70-100 miles out and my little ole boat wont make it that far. I tried calling one service but can get a return call. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
