Hitchcock wins with back up qb after start went out with ankle injury. Columbus rb got hit hard in 1st quarter and never returned. Columbus will struggle against good teams if the don't have him. Total injures Hitchcock qb, #2 wr, d1 lineman played with bad shoulder injury. Columbus TE, 2 oline men, and rb rigdon.

If Hitchcock has gotten better line play compared to the past couple years then they will win this game imo. That was what they were missing to be elite. But to me the QB still has to make plays with his feet because of pressure from what I have seen this year. Dline might be better but the oline is still the weak spot. Columbus 49 Hitchcock 35 is what I'm thinking but If Hitchcock oline holds up they will win this game.

Difference is we only returned 5 on offense and have to get the oline to gel. That was supposed to be yalls strength this season. We ran the ball well on them when we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot. But we shot ourselves all night long and can't do that against a team like Celina. I think we had 4 or 5 fumbles and no telling how many penalties. We have some stuff to clean up but nothing that can't be fixed.

I do think Hitchcock has gotten better with out a doubt. Bellville offense looked slow and did not run the slot t well. This is a great confidence booster for them but can't let it go to their head. I want to see how they handle Columbus.

Yeah I agree they should be pretty good on offense. We are replacing some parts on defense so we will see where we are at as well.

Guess going to state 4 years in a row couldn't even get us in the top 2. We will be young in spots with a tough schedule but I fully expect to see yall at AT&T for the 5th year in a row.

I believe we have the greatest coaching staff in the state. The kids do as well and buy in. Franklin made it to state in football, tennis, cheer, band, track, and won it in baseball. Went 3 rounds in basketball for both boys and girls and to the regional final in softball. Made it to the playoffs in every sport and was never a 4 seed in any of them.

Brock's 1 2 3 hitters all are committed d1. La Tech, TX Tech, and TCU.

Franklin takes down gunter yesterday 5-4... then defeated Brock 7-4 to win the AAA State Championship.
