    Told everyone we had plenty of pitching last season. Imo nothing has changed.

    Better listen to the OC? Who is to say he won't bring in his own OC. BTW you can win a state championship without throwing the ball. Good luck to this coach he will have his hands full with this community.

    The reason I said basketball is because Silsbee is a known basketball town. But yes they will help the football team as well.

    I went to the WW vs Columbus game. I'm not sure where you are getting they played them tough. It was a complete blow out. At one time the Franklin vs Columbus game was 42-35 in the 3rd.

    A program needs to get there first. If you win it on the first trip then that is just icing on the cake.

    So the coach you had takes y'all further then any other coach in Woodville history going all the way to Jerry World. But its his fault y'all didn't win because he didn't open up the offense and use different weapons? Yall need someone you can utilize what y'all have? Wow no wonder he left even with the talent coming up. If the fans and community does not back the coaching staff in every way then why would he stay after taking y'all (a team that had only been 2 rounds) to the promise land. To many bleacher coaches that know better then the man and staff who got y'all there. Better hope y'all find a top coach and will put up with the experts in the bleachers or back to the bottom y'all will go.

    Just because you move from 3a to 2a does not mean its a step down program wise. Woodville just had their best season ever. Everyone goes threw down years especially at the 2a rank.

    Crawford is a 2a powerhouse and looks to be ready for another run with the varsity being 80% freshman last season

    2016 14-2*

    2015  14-1*

    102-34 in the last 10 years

    they have played in the state semi finals 4 times in the last 10 years and region final 6 times

    How could you not say this is not a step up?

    Woodville:

    511-448-30, 1 championship app, 0 championships, 25 playoff app

    Plus this move is closer to family back in Central Texas.

    Historically Crawford is a step up program wise. Let's be real here Crawford was making state runs and going deep year after year while Woodville finally got past the 2nd round.
