  1.   Not a ND fan but I would clear a spot for them in final four. If they navigate that schedule undefeated.
  2. The 19 yard field goal by Auburn kicker Wes Byrum to win the 2010 National Championship. Until then I didn't think I would see Auburn win one in my lifetime.
  3. There is a reason KSU didn't play well against Iowa State and it's not Iowa State.
  4. 'A&M won't make the same mistakes K-State did.'   So you aren't/won't take into account the mistakes Auburn made against KSU.   Or KSU's defense may be better than A&M's.   Or that the A&M game is in Auburn as opposed to a Thursday night game in Manhattan.
  5. This will certainly be an interesting game with contrasting play styles. We will see if A&M's defense has improved since last year.
  6. But that wasn't a lucky play for Auburn. It was a poorl defensive play by the uga defender. He should've batted the ball down instead of trying to catch it.
  7. I fnd it amusing the tipped pass in the uga game is luck yet if a wr tips a pass to a defender for an interception it's not luck. Like last night, Auburn's intercepton in the KST endzone, was that luck for Auburn or a bad play on the part of the wr.   And calling the FG return in the bamr game luck is pure BS.   And the 615 yards the A&M defense gave up had far more to do with Auburn's win than Manziel getting hurt or a no call. Dont forget your boy Manzeil tossed 2 interceptions.
  8. So a wide receiver tips a ball to a defender who then returns it for a td, is that luck?   So if bamr makes the field goal after the second is added to the clock, would that have been luck also?
  9. It's not how you win them just how many.
  10. Auburn stepped over the rattlesnake last night. Kansas State should've won this one.
  11. Auburn wins this one easily.   48-17
  12. True dis. A&M certainly got more out of their possessions than Rice. But the defense is still soft. Rice gained 481 totals yards, including 241 on the ground. And as bad as SC looked they had 433 yards.
  13. Other than it being a Thursday night game AT KST Auburn will handle the Wildcats rather easily. FSU has yet to play at last year's level but Clemson is not very good. Here is a possible upset. WVA is playing good football. Oklahoma didn't impress me against Tennessee. And this game is in Morgantown. This should be another good game. LSU has problems at qb. State should load up to stop the run, forcing LSU to move the ball through the air. On the other hand State hasn't played anyone with a pulse so... Florida has the athletes to match up with bamr but looked pedestrian against Ky. Perhaps they were looking at ahead to this game. If bamr beats them handily then alot of questions about bamr should be laid to rest. Should bamr struggle then we still won't know about them til they play LSU.
  14. Auburn has the toughest schedule in the West. But Auburn is also the best team in the West. And everyone seems to be overlooking Missouri again. Missouri should split with SC and uga, playing SC on the road and getting uga at home. The Missouri game at A&M will determine who gets to Atlanta out of the East.   Auburn vs Missouri again.
  15. Northern Illinois beats Northwestern   Central Michigan beats Purdue     Scratch the Big 10 from best football conference talk.
  16. I agree A&M and uga were the best. After this weekend A&M and Auburn are the top teams in the West.   bamr, LSU, & Ole Miss have problems at qb.
  17.   Right. Auburn beat Oregon 22 to 19. Then the following season LSU beat the Dux 40-27.   The scheme itself may win a game or two. In the long run the team with the better jimmies and joes will win far more.regardless of the scheme.
  18. Nice win A&M.   Since Auburn plays SCe this year I'm relieved to see them exposed. But on the other hand A&M may be a tougher out than i expected.
  19. Leonard Fournette and LSU's oline will show Wisconsin would a power rushing attack is all about.
  20. I read today on a Auburn forum where Reveille accompanies a cadet to class every day. IF the dog barks the class is dismissed since if the professor can't keep Reveille's attention then the subject matter is not worth continuing.   It brought a smile when I read this.   Is this true?
  21. Auburn will field the most experienced, talented team in the West division. The offense will be superb. The defense should improve after another year in the defense coordinator’s system.  How they navigate through a tough schedule remains to be seen.   Arkansas won’t have the jimmies and the joes. Their recruiting over the past 4 years has been subpar. Only one class in the top 20. The other 3 classes 30th or worse.   Bamr has several question marks. Possibly starting a freshman at left tackle. Ouch. The heir apparent at qb was 3rd string at FSU. And he may not win the job. The oline has only 37 starts among all 5. In contrast Auburn’s oline has 99 starts. Bamr is also breaking in 3 new guys at defensive back.   Post Manziel A & M will struggle to have a .500 record.   Ole Miss will have a good team. Returning qb, quality wrs. But very inexperienced oline will be a problem. The defense will be good. Another problem will be quality depth. The starters are good but what is behind the starters.   State will be State. Good players at some spots but not so good at others.   LSU won’t be as strong as previous squads. A new qb along with inexperienced wrs will prompt opposing defenses to load up against the run. The defense should be good.   The opening weekend will provide a good snapshot of where certain teams are: Arkansas vs. Auburn OM vs. Boise State LSU vs Wisconsin A & M vs South Carolina Bamr vs West Virginia
