After watching LCM scrimmage Orangefield tonight I’d say that might be the least disciplined team I’ve seen in a long time, they probably had 10 personal fouls called

It’s still early, i personally loved the Slot T, my biggest concern was protecting the QB & we actually did a decent job of that tonight. We looked way better vs LCM than I anticipated, so hopefully it will be a good year.

Liberty looked way better than Anahuac, definitely surprised me.

I don’t know what you’re talking about, the spread isn’t really a balanced offense, I’d be all about a pro style power I system, but that ain’t happening. Orangefield turned things around BIG TIME, when we went to the slot T, again, just look at the records in the 90’s & 2000’s lol only a handful of winning seasons. I obviously hope we win every game, but hating on the Slot T makes zero sense because we were relatively successful with it, & we literally have no clue if we have their personnel that can effectively run the spread.

I played with the best passer in OF history as far as stats go (not granger). But we passed out of a Pro Style, power I based formation

I still haven’t figured out why OF fans are in such a hurry to run the spread lol. There are lots of really bad teams running the spread, & we won a ton of games with the Slot T over really good programs. The Slot T fit our athletes well. Parents with very little football knowledge hate On the Slot T all the time, I’ve lived in OF for over 40 years, go look at some of the records we had before the Slot T, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. I hope we go 10-0 next year but LCM hasn’t exactly been world beaters. I’m optimistic but I’m also realistic, and I feel the Slot T was very good for OF.

You guys have beaten us once in football since 2012 🤷‍♂️ not sure how that demonstrates your superiority

Before this week I would have picked Woodville, but after seeing Orangefield, Anahuac, & even Buna take it to that district in round 1, I think EC pulls this one out.

What conversation do you want to be in? I’m really confused. You had a good season, you’re going to the playoffs, if you go a couple rounds deep you’ll get some love. That’s how it works lol

How many seniors does WOS have? I know their JV has lost quite a few games & they don’t have a freshman team, they have a good 8th grade team, but their 7th grade group has lost quite a few too. I don’t see things getting better unfortunately, not unless they have kids hiding under a rock somewhere

I love the Bobcats but we are thin up front & have had a couple injuries. My heart says Bobcats but my head says Eagles
