1. Vidor Lcm- hoping ozen wins Lumb. - hoping Livingston pulls an upset Ned. - too hot to handle right now.
2. PNG@Central. I'm Praying for Central. Ozen@Livingston.Ozen puts the ball in play alot, Defense suffers badly, Livingston will have to hit to win, Im Sure Chambers will get the win.9-2 Ozen Nederland@LCM. This could be a really good game, Lcm Offense with good pitching, 6-5 LCM Lumberton@Vidor. Vidor's Pitching is going to win this game. And Vidor Bats are turning on, JonBoy Smith is KILLING the Ball with runners on. 6-2 Vidor.
3. Vidor 1 Jaspee 0 End 2 Jon boy smih pitching for Vidor.
4. Good Match up for the first scrimmage, Vidor's pitching as what was expected, N. Foshee- threw alot of strikes, then E. Foshee- great breaking balls, and the Heater was HOT. John Smith- Fastball was HOT, Then Colby Schrilla- I wish we had a gun on these guys, you could hear his fastball whistle and then pop the catchers mitt, Very Hot fastball. Hitting was ok. A few good ones. John Smith Hits the wall dead center. But the icing on top is......Vidor has some speed too. Jasper has soild pitching, and they swing it too.
5.

Vidor has 9 good one this seasons, I will give the top 4 , Johnboy Smith- a great athelete, 86+fb, smart pitcher( intimidating on the bump). Nick Foshee. 85+ fb, 6,4" maybe 5", add the Bump, it looks the ball is coming from the center feild light pole, Smart Baseball player. Colby Schiralla, "Lights Out", he may never see the bump because his catching is so good. Nicks, not so little brother, Eric (Big Easy) Foshee, God given talent we all dream about, he is a freak. 88+ and im being conservative. And, yes And, Vidor has 5 others that can pitch as well. 9 Pitchers. Thats my count. I feel confident any of those 9 can win a game, I can't think of a season that Vidor had so much pitching. Could be the Year of the Pirates, cause you know Coach Green likes pitching.
GREEN - REX- GRAY..Vidors biggest weapons with the talent they have year end year out....Sounds like Vidor has a lil something this year..
then why can't they win a first round playoff series w all this talent they have year in and year out?  Coaching?
I think the coaching is the best Vidor has ever had, Vidor has never had the amount of talent at the Varisity level before, as far as pitching, IMO. Fourth seed playoff births usally mean lack of pitching.  Another reason, IMO ,is training before high school, Vidor is finally starting to see the "Select kids" who are trained in the fundemantals before they get to High school and have played in alot games, against good competition. Every Starter on that team has played Hundreds of Games, maybe more, and coach by professional coaches. High School is simply; the time to show off what you have been working your tail at all summer and fall. Hopefully, the underclassmen and Jr high kids are doing the same. Its been along time coming for Vidor to get some braggin rights around here. A 5 year run would be SWEET.
6. any of these nine good ones juniors  looking for pitching
3 Juniors, 1 Soph. 1 Freshman.
7. UTfan- Sounds like you know a little-bit about 4a. I concurr with Vidor going the distance in 20-4a. I Know the Pirates are working hard, getting better on offense, good pitching, always beats good hitting, hopefully the other pitching is not so good. 1 Vidor-DEEEEEEP, Scrapy, Chip on thier shoulder. Johnboy will lead this group to the district title. 2PNG- Scrapy 3LCM-Offense, as always. 4Lumb- These guys are going to suprise you, Johnathan Smith, a Jr. pitcher, can sling it also. Ryan Erickerson, all around stud, Chance Koch, the best defensive catcher in the district, Joe Hancock, can hit, field, pitch, Utility Hero. Campbell, White. I would take the odds on this one.

9. I predict Vidor to win the first round of playoffs, maybe even two rounds deep. Their defense will take them there. This team is young but polished. As far as district goes, it all depends on the schedule. Whatever happens, its gonna be fun.
10. This is a class act organization, my son plays on this team and the coaching is superb. The best in the area in my opinion, they have worked so hard to develop these young athletes into Very Good baseball players, They never say "Can't". And they are great roll models for these young men. If your son is hard worker dedicated to becoming a better Ball Player, then try out.
11. 16 U torn in lumberton at Marauder Park. Sept 4th and 5th. Call Justin for more info. at least one more team needed.781-8569.
12. Can any 16 year old freshman play? is there a cut off on birthday?
13. Who are the coaches?  What is the team name? When are try outs? Will they play fall ball tourns? Where will practice be held?
14. Good Job to the coaches at Setx Select. The 14 U Whitecaps are playing well and are being coached well.
15. We have had a great time this spring, summer season, the kids have really develop. I personally have notice several players become a lot more confident in their ability and the coaching has been top of the line. It is great to see them get better every week. The players that work at it and really want to compete, this has been a great opportunity for them and the parents. Keep up the hard work Justin it really is paying off. I am ready for the next tournament and for any parents who has kid that wants to keep playing and who is willing to work hard, I recommend you do it, they are only kids once..... have some fun.
