True Blue I have to agree with you but also disagree with you. Your right about slowing the game down to beat Kountze. Unless your just as good at being a run and gun type team like Kountze then the only way to beat them is to slow the ball down. You can't try to play to another teams forte. What I have to disagree on is the what you commented about the ref. IMO I thought the refs did a pretty good job of calling the game. Im not sure what the foul count was for both teams but the refs seemed to let the kids play ball but keep it in check also. About Green, Carrington, and Dunnigan getting so called knocked around without any fouls getting called, well thats their fault. Yea they got knocked around a little but its because of their going up to the goal weak. When you go up weak there isn't going to be a foul called but its when you go up strong that you will get the call. IMO the only one of the three that even sort of went up strong was Green, for the other two there is just one word, WEAK

Actually Coach Andrews has been with the team for years now, especially when EC made trips to the Regional Tournament for four consecutive years in a row. The only difference was is that he was with the team as the assistant. Hargraves was a good coach but Coach Andrews would have done the exact same if not better had he been the head coach at the time. So I would think it's safe to say that Coach Andrews is well qualified to be coaching the team and knows the team and what combinations of players will put the team in the best position to win the game, especially at the end of the game when it is on the line. What this sounds like to me is an angry parent his kid isn't getting to play as much as they thought they would JMO.

okay first of all hitman kirbyville hasn't even played ec so you can't even mention their name

If im not mistaken im pretty sure that East Chambers is playing Evadale Saturday.

Ec is not as bad as their record shows. Their record should be atleast 9-3 with their only true losses coming from H-J twice and Gladewater Sabine once. Most of the teams they have played they have been winning and the games have been close but the kids just do not know how to finish a game. This probably coming from their lack in experience from all the underclassman they have. As for Coach Andrews he is doing a great job and is teaching the kids to never give up and play with everything they have. When distric comes along they will be just fine and look for them to make the playoffs
