  1. WOW, both cases you mention, you twist it up to make Evadale look good.  I'm not bashing of the players, but man are you messed up.  Evadale had a great plan to get WH #15 off of #3 with the picks, but couple of times #33 & #24 lunged forward and smacked #15 like they were blocking in football.  Can't do moving picks and they got away with several.  Just saying, you want a ref to call it fair, why don't you try it.

Feel free to cry about it somemore, but have the courage to at least acknowledge mistakes from both teams.  Refs missed a bunch like I said before, Evadale didn't play any cleaner or dirty than West Hardin.  No doubt about it, my Oilers play physical and sometimes get a lot of fouls for it.  This years team is one of the least "dirty" teams that we've had in several years.

Think back to even just last year, we had a few Prima Donna's that we're ball hogs & crappy attitudes.  There are no selfish players on the team this year.

Evadale was just too much for the oilers last night Some of the west hardin players were dirty but didnt stop the rebs from playin team ball.. Congrats to the Rebs on the big win before playoffs

Your an idiot, there wasn't any dirty play.  Both teams play aggresive and the refs let a lot of fouls go on both sides.

Please give your example of what you thought was dirty!
  3. Same huh???

    09-10 the Oilers were 5-5 --- Westfall's last year

    10-11 they were 4-6 --- Henry's 1st year

11-12 they finished 8-2 --- with a playoff game that went into OT

I havent heard of any school board issues, so I dont know were that is coming from.  I just saw Coach Henry tonight, he seemed fine.
  4. Well 55, my beloved Oilers are losing a lot of talent this year.  The 2 fastest players we had are seniors in Harrington (WR & CB) & Caruthers (RB & DB).  Strong defensive players in Dorion (RB & LB), Patterson (TE & DE) & Palmer (LB & RB) as well.  Brown moved away and he was an up & coming talent at RB, he was part of the 4x400M relay team that went to state along with Kelly, Harrington & Caruthers.

I think WH will still be good for next year, but losing speed will make the Oilers go back to power football or come up with something new all together.  Coach Henry can be creative, I hope they do well.

I dont live near by and since my youngest is a senior, I wont be driving out to the games anymore.  I'm looking forward to reading about them if someone will post stuff.

    Just beat the Bobcats!  ;D

I don't know about weak it's still early!  All I can speak for is West Hardin and they looked & played like garbage yesterday.  This was only the 2nd game I've been able to make & they didn't play at all like the game I say last Tuesday.  I've had people inform me of the other games & basically the oilers played flat yesterday.

Don't know you but glad everything worked out OK. Now it is your turn to take better care of yourself. This is serious man. Don't know how old you are but your kids or grandkids want you to hang around for a while. Just sayin.

I will & thanks, weird thing is that my problem was genetic and not something like diet, high stress or high blood pressure.  My Artiries were perfectly clear, just a bad valve.  Surgeon said I had 80% regurgitation and probably 2 to 4 months before I had irreversable heart failure.

    Oh and I'm 38!
  7. Hello folks!  Thanks for everyone thoughts & prayers on the other thread.  Now I'd like to let you all know how it went.

Surgery lasted over 8 hours; they tried twice to repair my valve, however neither attempt worked.  We went with an artificial valve & know it sounds like the doctor left a clock in my chest.  LOL  ;D

Stayed in ICU for 3 nights & then in a regular room for 4 more nights.  I really don't think I could have made it another day in the hospital, those beds & chairs are horrible.  Have to admit though, the nursing staff at Memorial was awesome.

I'll probably be stuck here at home for another 4 to 6 weeks.  I do go outside and walk everyday on the street, not moving too fast or too far yet.
