What difference does it make on when the list comes out?  It's All-District team, not All-Year team.  Surely the coaches wont change their mind, unless of coarse some use the playoffs as a reference. Not trying to start anything, just curious though.

[/quote] Come on!!!  No way you can say HD dominated, no one dominates in a 6-6 game.  The Bobcats moved the ball effectively in overtime when it mattered the most, so again congrats on their win.  I will admit that HD dominated last year, it was 38-8, thats domination not a 12-6 OT win.

I don't know about the rest of the year, but when West Hardin played New Waverly, NW had over 30 penalties.  They still whipped the Oilers like a dirty rug, but I said it before, if they could get a little more disciplined they'd be great.

I'll go with the Mustangs right now, just got their first win & this is Homecoming. However, Colmesneil is the other team in our district that could be playing for the title in a few weeks. After my Oilers played both teams; I can say it should be a good one. Good luck to both teams!!! Burkeville wins by less than a TD. I don't see any team going undeafted this year, but I've been wrong lots of times before.

Does anyone know what the cutoff numbers are going to be for 1A football next year? What number determines D1 or D2?

I know everyone thinks Evadale is the favorite & rightfully so, but I feel an upset coming this week. Should be an outstanding game though. No prediction other than WH winning a close one.

First off, thanks to the Sharks. You were a great host for tonight's game and your facilities are starting to look good. Secondly, the wind off the bay was horrible. Penalties really hurt us tonight, we had way too many stupid ones. Here is the quarterly update: 1st West Hardin - 6 ---- Ansisco 40yd TD run, 2 point conv no good Sabine Pass - 0 2nd West Hardin - 6 ---- Lots of punts in the 2nd qrt Sabine Pass - 0 3rd West Hardin - 14 --- Oiler drove down to the Sharks 3yd line & turn over on downs. 3 plays later got a safety. Sabine Pass - 0 Next drive, Ansisco 4yd TD run, extra point no good 4th West Hardin - 14 Sabine Pass - 7 ---- Sharks drove the field and had a 1yd TD run. Recovered the on-side kick, but ended up turning the ball over on downs. #51 put a lot of pressure on the Sharks QB & even caused him to get an intentional grounding flag. I talked to a few of the Sharks players and their team has been hit extremely hard with injuries. One of the young men said that they lost 5 starters. Hope a speedy recovery for your players and good luck from here on out. My Oilers have a grand task at hand next week, when the Rebels come to West Hardin. This should be a very good game. I don't expect a high scoring game, giving that both teams have good defenses.
