who are the coaches going to be for the 14 yr olds?

i cant remember the peanut guy. I remember walking the sweetheart! I can  still hear my teeth and knees chattering from being so nervous.

if only our kids could see how we did it back then... your kids are lucky to have that uniform. i have twin 13 yr olds and they have no clue about that league.truly a golden memory of mine

played for coach prouse on the tigers in '84. we're really telling our age here...

growing up and playing ball at wesco was in deed the most fun as a kid. playing cup ball we had our own little field behind the chalk box building. taking a wax coke cup and playing with no umps,parents,coaches, was the best game to play. if only we could have this type of game today...

All that was ever said/asked was who is going to be the coach?  Now we all know who he is... and there is still discussion about things that dont matter.

you have real good point about the allstar kid slipping thru and not making the team. it would be nice to see how the team gets picked.

well i once said its funny how people/parents can sit behind the fences and tell you( the coach) what you should do. or better yet have a constant complaint about how lil johnny should be playing here or there instead looking at the whole picture and let the coach put the best 9 not the best 8 and their son forward. if there is something bad or ugly you dont like about it... there are coaches applications available for next season.

I hate to say this but,  it looks like Nederlands Little League is going to dominate this area.  Bridge City will just have to pull Orange in to compete.

i dont think bc has to pull in orange to compete... it looks like ned had to join forces to compete with bc.jmo

QUESTION? if a pitcher toes the rubber in a wind up,(right hand pitcher) with a runner on first. He does not step off, but throws the ball for a pick at first. Is this a balk?

Who are the coaches?

Come on, arrogant? You are talking about people who all think their kids are the greatest baseball players ever.You dont have to tell them they are going to be first rounders or franshise players, they already think that.

My team is called The Franchise and I named them that because I like Florida and their colors. So if you think its arrogant so be it.  Its a name.Get over it. We dont tell our parents we can make their kids great.We tell them we are going to give them a good and fun enviroment for baseball. We don't win every tournament but we do win  some; its not because we have an arrogant name or we promise our parents  the world.Our team is a little  different from alot of select teams.Our parents don't pay a dime and we are going to keep it that way for as long as i can.We are trying to give our kids a better opportunity to play better competition and to get better.

So if it seems our names are arrogant we might be cause I don't know about you but I think my team can beat any team out there.I have that much confidence  in my kids.
