Stump has been the head coach at West Brook since 2005. In 2007, he won his second consecutive District 21-5A title by leading his team to a 10-1 record.

Prior to West Brook, he was the head coach at Kelly High School, also in Beaumont. Before becoming coaching in high school, Stump spent six years as an assistant for Mississippi State under his former college coach, Jackie Sherrill as well as three seasons as an assistant at Tulane.

After looking as what I've seen, I think they've got the right idea here. What they're talking about will give them a nice, reasonable facility and should allow for expansion should the need arise in the future for it.

UNLV, man, I just can't agree with ya. FCS is the way to go. Beaumont likes teams that WIN and a Lamar FCS team is going to be competitive a lot faster than an FBS team.

I watched some of the game. I didn't get too good a look at it, but it really looked to me on the one replay I saw that ND got screwed on that goal they waived off.
