What i'm saying is...EC should beat Woodville, Hempill or Corrigan the first round, but don't think they can beat Newton. On the other hand....Woodville, Hemphill or Corrigan should beat any of the other teams in district 24. IMO and from experience from the last 2 yrs, district 23 is much better than district 24 with the exception of EC. Sorry if it hurts your feelings, not talking trash just fact.

I agree, plus we have some unfinished business with the Marlin Bulldogs. :evil:

I still say the two best teams in 3a Div 2 will be playing in the 2nd round with the winner of that game have the best shot at winning it all. WOS-Giddings is gonna be a WAR, hopefully they will not be playing on the same day as Newton so that I can go watch.

I really do think that Jasper will play Silsbee a tough game and will keep it close until the end.

I admitt that Buna is winning a few games this yr but since when did Buna's offense become so dominate that they can run over anyone put in front of them.....wishful thinking.

It is a possibility that the two will meet and I think Newton's strength of schedule will be the big difference. Playing teams like Crockett, Carthage, Silsbee and yes Jasper will have the Eagle better prepared for the playoffs. EC does have a great QB but don't forget that Newton has one also and 3 or 4 backs that will take it to the house at any time. However it ends up, if we meet, it should be a good game and both teams will give it their all.

Jasper's on a hot streak and will upset the tigers. Not really but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Brother in law killed 10 pt with 19 inch inside and scored 128 bc. We both passed several small 8's. Deer were moving well and looks like the rut will happen any day now.

It also depends on Woodville and Hemphill. If Buna loses and Hemphill wins EC will get Newton first round. :shock:

I'll take Buna again this week. IF Buna gets in they MAY get to dodge a bullet in the first round by getting to play Woodville instead of Newton.

Woodville came to play and with a couple of their key players back it will be tough for Hemphill to beat them. I'm saying Newton will be Div 2.

If Rhodes isn't playing it will be Silsbee by 14

I think it will be a low scoring tight game. Kirbyville will make the big plays and Silsbee will burn up the clock and drive it down their throats. Kirbyville by 1
