  5. I'm the only Cheater here.........well maybe there is at least one more. But he coaches a team West of us!
  6. Dang......It's not true. I always thought blue was out to get us! ;D
  7. Nope....he was a nice guy. He helped me get to coach!
  8. This past weekend was a great weekend for softball in Ft Worth. Not a great weekend for Crush Coaches. First of all let me say, the OC-G played well and Shockers got their bid and congrats to both. One of the highlites of the weekend was watch the homeplate umpire chunk CC. He looked like a major league umpire throwing Bobby Cox out of a baseball game. Then after the next pitch Jeff V. questioned his eye sight and he got tossed. I think they jsut wanted a Lemon Chill they were selling at the concession stand. It was classic! Stircrazy and I got to finish coaching the game. From what I heard in Beaumont the both 12U Crush-Collins coaches got chunked and News came about as close to getting thrown as you can get. Must have been the heat!
  9. Congrats John, y'all had a really good run. Long hard road back after losing the first bracket game.... Geeze it was hot. Proud of the girls though they played their butts off after that first game. yes it is, yes it was, and yes they did!
  10. I have to say from what I heard and I was in Ft Worth at another tournament this was tournament was BAD! You can say what you want. This was a terrible for Beaumont! Talked to Rusty at around 2:30. He was at home. That is all I can say at this point. We have a lot of work to do get people back to Beaumont. Look for something soon!
  11. There is a diffrent level of cheating , whether you get caught or not
  12. LOL, I remember someone this week accusing me of stirring the pot. This is a really large pot you have stirred here my friend. All in fun, all in fun, huh, Breaker Coach? Hey 13, He is part of the "Empire" Mafia ! Don't bring me into it ! P.S. Eastex, What are you smoking ! ;D Grapevine!
  13. WOW!!! BHBlue are you just going to take that?? I bet he has not read it yet! My money goes on BHBlue that he will respond soon!
  14. Is there one of those Daiquiri Shacks places in Ft. Worth?
  15. There are a lot of coaches that have their personal funds tied up into this tournament. That along with trying to pickup players for player shortages means we , the teams, need some answers today. If we are paying $200 to play, $30 for umpires, and $10 at the gate I would expect water in the dugouts, field crews, and happy well qualified umpires. Upsetting the umpires is my job on the field.Just kidding. If this tournament is not going to happen we need to know today so we can get our money back. Have you ever paid close attention what you dump out a water cooler after a tournament or watch what goes on with a water cooler during games (particularly with younger age groups). You've got hands getting ice, wet rags, neck coolers, etc. going in and out of them. I know this and I still drink out of them cause its cold, wet and refreshing at the time. I'll deal with the potential squirts later. As far as the costs for this tournament, I had nothing planned for this weekend anyways and its at home. Beats finding some pickup tournament in Houston that costs about $2000 total travel and accommodations for my team. I'm with you MC......... 1. Bring a team cooler and drink bottle water or Gatoraide. 2. As for field crews.... been to several tournaments lately that did not have Field crews. 3. I bet there are enough "empires" for Pirate88 to make mad! Lot cheaper to stay close to home>
  16. Well put. Teams that were beaten by a beefed up GCB definitely deserved better. This weekend was extremely humid and HOT. No team wanted to play extra games. Maybe a little more put on this than what it was. No one was beat by this team with the two older (14U) girls playing. The two girls played the last inning of the last game which they lost 17-1. They were listed on the lineup against Crush, as subs. I don't think "cheating" was ever the intent, if so these kids should have been playing and would have been starters. This was really a no-win situation. If you beat them you should have if you lose them "What happened?"! The coach knows the rules and knows the consciousness. You should not use the word CHEAT! They just should not have tried to hide what happened. That should have come out at the umpire conference. Let the other coach know. They may have played under protest!
  17. Maybe he talked with MC Elite coach. ;D ;D ;D That is the first thing I thought of too. Maybe this should be a topic for a new post, but I'll ask it here anyway...Are there different levels of cheating or is breaking the rules breaking the rules? I could start it........I have not been caught in a while!
  18. Yea............you can get BRANDED for life if you get caught cheating! #1 Cheater
  19. Congrats to Crush (Cole) for a great weekend of softball. They finished 2nd to the Lady Hawks out of Baton Rouge. The girls played 10 games in two days and still had energy left. Good luck next weekend at the US Open!
