I was never a fan of Lindblom... Hated that he was the "major" piece in the Young trade...

Ready to find out how good Lindblom will look in his Rangers debut as a starter...
Hopefully the offense will get to Bartolo Colon early and give him some runs to work with against an Oakland team that is scary to me!!! -

I know that we are in the majority on this thing, but the WBC has been great... I hated to see the US lose to Puerto Rico, but the final game between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic will be GREAT!!!

Duke will handle Miami the next time they play...
Miami is just the flavor of the week right now, just like N.C. State was at one point in the ACC.... -
But what does the trade say to the fans? If I was an Astros fan, I would be irate at the current state of the team.... When Lowrie was healthy last year, he was one of the bright spots.... I agree, try to gather as many young prospects as you can, but you have to put fans in the seats somehow, and the promise of a bright future doesn't do that....
Their team payroll is less than a handful of players will make alone this year... -
I would rather them not let anyone in than put everyone in...
Biggio will get in, and I think he deserves to get in... But I don't have a problem with him not getting in first ballot.... -
And now reports that Daniels is considering leaving Profar and Olt on the big league squad to add depth.... This team is starting to take shape....

Not sure what they were thinking by trading away Jed Lowrie... They got back some prospects, but I'm not sure how close they are to being in the majors...
Not trying to down them, but they will more than likely have to work very hard to not lose 100!!! -
Miami and Duke are really good, N.C. State and North Carolina are good, and that's about it... Might be the weakest we have seen the ACC in quite some time... Someone else out of the conference will make the tournament, probably Virginia, but they don't necessarily deserve it...

If I had to pick right now, I'd say Indiana is the team to beat and Florida is a close second....
Indiana is scary athletic, and they have Zeller on the inside.... Florida meanwhile can shoot the lights out and I hope and pray that is the matchup we see in the Championship Game....

There are other guys who will get some time, including Leonys Martin.... I think we will get another left-handed bat as well, maybe a Nick Swisher or an Adam LaRoche....
